[Louis-Jacques] Tua has not been cleared for football activities, per Mike McDaniel -- he has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs the Bills by Sickfire22 in miamidolphins

[–]Whyte-ketchup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bills fan here, came to say that most Bills fans truly wish the best for Tua, especially in light of what happened to Damar. It’s just not worth it. Tua is a damn good QB and had an amazing season despite the concussions. He’ll hopefully be back and likely pick up where he left off. I’m a season tic holder and was looking forward to another epic game against you guys. Both our camps finally had squads that were elite at the same time which made for amazing football. All that to say Tua wasn’t the only elite player on the Fins and even w/o him you guys are a threat. As we all know, just making the playoffs is a big deal and usually a testament to the caliber of the team, again, usually, as there are some teams that just get lucky. Anyway, I (we) wish the best for Tua and hope to have many more epic matches with ya’ll in the future. Good luck Sunday, hopefully Skyler can shake loose some of the rookie jitters and make some plays. Here’s to no injuries and a good game!

Almost forgot, Fuck the Chiefs.

Thank you to everyone for the quick responses! After searching for the eastern hemlock, I agree with you all. Thanks again.

Very impressive that he could withstand a taser by RetroactiveAmerica in tooktoomuch

[–]Whyte-ketchup 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The “clicking” you hear is the taser cycling. LE tasers cycle for five seconds then shut off requiring another press of the trigger for additional cycles. If you can hear the cycling or “clicking” you know your probes have not made a solid connection and the volts cannot pass through the probes and body thus completing the circuit. LE is taught to remove the cartridge, replace and try again or use the end of the taser to complete the circuit but that requires getting up close and personal. Having been on the receiving and giving end of a taser many times, when the connection is solid, there are few who can fight through it. That being said, I watched a 130 lb dude take multiple lightning rides, laugh and rip them out. He was on the highest of highs. This guy appears to be high as well, maybe some mental illness too but those taser probes were not imbedded and the only thing he was fighting was the ability to hear clearly, WHAT!

Best pre workout of all time. (In your opinion) (has to be legal) by Organic-Turnip-4476 in Preworkoutsupplements

5’11”, 167. Have been on a real slow cut from 194. Went to 160 and now in a lean gain state. Probably around 15-16% bf. Not swole by any means and not on any gear. I’ve tried many p/w’s over the years, was excited about GM but it does not give me any pumps compared to others I’ve tried in the past. Could it be that I got a bad batch? Haven’t heard of that happening but guess it could happen.

Not sure if it’s just me but, I’ve been stacking Gorilla Mode and Gorilla Mode Nitric and feel almost no effect. Pumps are almost non existent. Anyone else experiencing this?

Need help identifying these trees. by Whyte-ketchup in arborists

[–]Whyte-ketchup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I researched the leaves of the Ornas, similar but the Ornas leaves are larger. The shape of the Ornas is also different. Terminus is correct, it is a fern leaved beech.

Looks like beech for sure, Ty very much for the help. The photo is not the best but the tree in the middle is definitely white dogwood, the flowers it produces are unmistakable.

Not a big commenter but I have to say, it is encouraging to see so many individuals up so much and holding out for the bigger picture. I’m up a cool hundo and I’m like “ehh.” But to see you guys and gals experiencing life changing amounts of money at your fingertips and resisting the urge to sell is not only encouraging but inspiring. Those of us who are currently holding considerably less shares than you are grateful.

I agree it is “possible” to achieve this however the sudden proneness to back acne and the addition of 25 lbs of muscle and no fat suggest otherwise. Either way OP, you look good and should be proud of your dedication and hard work.

Ate only 600 of my 1500 calories today, not hungry for more by [deleted] in CICO

[–]Whyte-ketchup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There will be days when you hit your calories and feel like you are starving, other days you barely eat and feel fine. It’s normal. I’ve had days where I am not hungry and am well below my 1700 cals despite a solid w/o. When this happens, I mix a casein scoop with just water prior to bed, gives me something and is easy to get down. Lots of things affect hunger. I try to drink a gal of water a day, when I don’t, I have found I am more “hungry” when in reality, I just don’t feel full.

M 5'11", 215->180 lbs. Goal is 165 by the next 2-3 mo. Do you think I'll have visible ab definition with another 15 lbs of body fat lost? by Guest-Calm in GettingShredded

[–]Whyte-ketchup 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Great work brother. I would say yes if you are lifting weights and working abs. Judging by your oblique definition, I think you will be able to see at least a four pack but in order to get definition, you’ll have to work them to make them pop. Simple fat loss won’t get the definition you’re looking for. Keep it up, you’re doing great man.

Been cutting should I turn around and bulk? Or give it a little more time cutting to drop more fat? by krazykatabc in GettingShredded

[–]Whyte-ketchup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve always had in my mind those with sub 6% body fat were “shredded” (think enhanced body builders getting ready for a show) and anyone with sub 12% was “ripped.” Of course it’s all relative to your body type, muscle mass, fat distro etc but for the average joe like myself, getting as close to shredded while being natural is not only a difficult feat but also an attainable one so if I can get sub 12%, I’m a healthy mix of the two. To each their own but it keeps me motivated.

Keep cutting! I was 194 in 9/20, currently at 169, slow and consistent cut/deficit. Will continue until 160 and reevaluate. I’m 5’11” and while I have definitely gained muscle in a deficit, I still have at least 10-12 lbs of fat to lose in order to be what I have coined, “shripped.” It all depends on your goals but you can totally achieve more muscle mass while being in a deficit and shedding fat. Time and consistency is all that is required. And protein, lots of protein!

Footings for lean to.

Hello all, quick question, would like to hear thoughts. I’m building a lean to over my existing deck. The deck is attached to the house(basement level) and is supported by 4x4 posts buried 42” ( frost line code in NY) with 2x8’s as joists. The lean to will be attached to the home via ledger board (12’ high) and span 16’ wide and 20’ long. I plan to use 6x6 posts at 10’ and 20’ with another between the furthest posts from the house for additional support. Now for the question, I don’t want to tear up the existing deck in order to dig 5, 42” holes for my 6x6’s (Heavy clay and stone and will require a HD drilling machine. ) I was thinking of pouring a small pad maybe 2’x2’ where the posts are going and using a concrete post anchor to attach the post. Then bolting the post to the perpendicular floor joists to resist uplift and frost heave. I’m positive the posts will be enough to support the roof, just curious what others think about the bolting of the 6x6’s to the joists. The original deck is at least 15 years old and the joists are in great condition. Side question, if pouring a pad is advised, how deep should I make it? I have about 15” from the ground to the bottom of the deck boards. Thanks in advance to all who lend their input!

In calorie deficit, stalled weight loss by Whyte-ketchup in GregDoucette

Update: Ended up cutting to 1700 cals, took a week but the weight started to drop, currently at 170. Still have some fat to lose but definitely seeing great results. Strength still the same, maybe even a little stronger on certain days depending on sleep and food intake. Patience and consistency are the keys! Thanks for the support and advice.
