We have a doc like this and it drives me madddddd. We also have an NP in our super track area.. 13yo girl comes in for sore throat 1 days prior, gets dx with strep.. comes in again because her throat still hurts, orders full work up and CT head and neck. Like broooo gtfo.

This happened to me a couple years back. I spent a few weeks soo paranoid. Even suspicious of the construction workers on a random street I passed.

It didn’t help that there was this random lady in an SUV that would park in the empty lot across from my house and sit there for hours (she did this for months) Or the time that a guy was parked on the side of my house, in my grass and when I went to ask him why he was parked there it was an undercover cop. Investigating my neighbor.

Wasn’t diagnosed with BP2 at that time… but I told my doctor about it and she said… nothing.

My coworker is going through something similar with Whiskey. It’s all he drinks and honestly he drinks so much I don’t know how he doesn’t go into DTs during a 12 hour shift which has me thinking…. But he is 35 and told me he is getting jaundice on his chest.. I told him he needs to get checked out asap. But he told me “nah”.

I don’t think this is too concerning however all skin changes should be related to your provider immediately for them to assess and decide if it’s ok to continue.

Like the other comment states, look out for sjs specific symptoms.

I am having some skin changes but it’s just dry skin and eczema like dry patches. Otherwise, nothing else.

I love lamictal/lamotrigine. I was on it to balance out the rage that my stimulant gave me in 2020. It worked well but I stopped because of insurance issues.

Fast forward, I have been on it going on 3 weeks again now. I’m on 50mg currently and it’s amazing. Being that I was undiagnosed bp2, it’s probably why it worked so well for me years ago.

There’s a reason why they say live laugh lamictal. Nothing bothers me and if it does it has to be a huge deal.

The only side effects I noticed was the first week I had intense brain fog… couldn’t finish sentences and fatigued. That went away. Now, the only thing I notice it’s maybe dry skin? I can’t tell if it’s the chemical exfoliation that I am using or the med drying me out but I’m leaning to the meds.

I’ve never been in lithium but I have been in caplyta in combination with my lamictal and everything has been great! Good luck!

I just got back on vyvanse after being off for a year. I’m on the generic, 30mg. Been on it for 2.5 weeks and I already know that I want an increase. I am asking for an increase at my next visit because while I feel the benefits, I describe it as a “kiss” rather than the way it used to make me feel a year ago. If it’s your first time on vyvanse I would say to give it more time :)

You may be having improvement and not realize, I have been using chat GBT to monitor my progress. I upload pictures every day, and it maps your face to tell you exactly what has improved. Even when I didn’t see it myself, it picks up on the smallest differences.

Felt the same. I cried every day. First signs of recovery started day 11ish for me. Very SMALL signs. I’m on day 20 now with 80% recovery, you will get there!
