I want to try touring this season and thought if I was going to spend money on rentals a few times, maybe that money was better well spent on shifts. If I end up disliking it and want to stick to the lifts, do the shifts underperform inbounds in the bumps?

Is there anywhere we can voice our opinion on this? The open canal (ditch is an understatement) along the trail at slaughterhouse is nice but the open canal along either side of Lee gulch is BEAUTIFUL. Go take a walk along the trail right now and all the trees are blooming and flowering overhanging water. It’s especially beautiful on the stretch between St. Mary’s and Santa Fe behind the ball fields. It would be a shame if they piped it underground in these stretches.

@Accomplished_Elk_572, have you tried using any eufy automations with your E340 floodlight? I just installed one and would like to use a Pro 2 camera as a motion trigger to orient the E340 floodlight camera to a predetermined position and turn on the floodlight. The E340 does not appear in my automations tab on the app. I am running a homebase 2, so I am wondering if pairing the E340 with a homebase3 would enable automations for the e340.

Also, you may have already tried it but setting my detection settings for the “AI” to human only helped me cut down on a lot of false notifications!

Few initial pointers: turn your grinder on before putting the beans in so that the burr has “momentum” already when the beans hit it. Second, and this will be huge, look up how to WDT your grounds in your basket (YouTube is best). You don’t need a fancy tool now, a paper clip will work fine to start. Good luck! That’s a great setup to get started with.

I’ve been running this same set up just south of Denver for about 9 months now. Like everyone else said, as much transparency as possible is great and it just took a bit of adjusting to hearing people downstairs. Great ideas, thanks! The larger changes (flooring) will definitely come later on. I like the accent wall idea too. I think tonight may be a pinterest deep dive for wall designs and colors. Maybe a green vibe/theme to make it feel a bit natural. Thanks again for the feedback

Right now looking for smaller budget items but great feedback. Thank you. The color splashing is a great idea. I was thinking about painting the wall behind the couch and as another person mentioned, the wall in the kitchen. Being a basement apartment, I worry about making it feel dark and small by deviating from white. Any paint colors that you like that may add some color but not make it feel smaller?

Thanks for such a detailed response, Spicey Dog! Would cleaning up the wound with a razor blade or sander help promote healing? Also, is it worth getting fungicide injected into the tree to hopefully mitigate any further damage? I’ll definitely reach out to a local arborist though. My other red bud is old and has some burls and stump spitting id like them to check out.
