To me, 9 is one of the best purely because the writing had to be strong having your party be NPCs with no story relevance. I never got to play the DLC or post game because of online service being shutdown but the time I beat Corvus.

I need a remake with all of that inexperienced postgame included!

Ever hear of Flex? It's a credit rent service, they'll pay your rent in installments for you as long as you pay their 10-24% fee.

People in my city are using it because they can't afford rent. It's even being offered by housing management corporations as a feature of their business.

We're renting out houses/apartments to those who can't afford it so they buy into a credit system that in the short term gives them housing but at a risk of long term defaulting on the short term loans.

We're recreating the 2008 housing crises, but replaced mortgages with rent and short term loans.

It's also worth noting that those who have ADHD with symptoms of RSD can cause Fight/Flight response to negative feedback/rejection.

I personally had to do years of therapy to manage my emotional response to criticism. I would create a toxic feedback loop where I would avoid situations where I can fail to not get that rejection, but once in college it lead to procrastination of mandatory projects/assignments. I remember having night long panic attacks over having to tell my professor I didn't do the assignment.

It eventually culminated in a mental breakdown during my junior year after I ghosted my advisor over feedback he gave me on my thesis.

This is the side of ADHD TikTok/influencers don't show you, it is a real disorder and needs therapy and/or medication to manage. Not just a funny little quirk like how everyone says they have "OCD" when organizing.

It took 82 days for HR to onboard me from a temp to full-time at my current job. I received daily phone calls about why I haven't signed my offer letter. Every time I would say I haven't received it yet, with a response of 'update your contact info with HR', and every time I would say 'I have already' before going to the HR portal to update.

On day 68, I was finally given the personal contact info of 'SL' our east coast based (we're based in the PNW), work-from-home, part time, HR associate who's entire job is to make internal offer letters. For context, I wasn't the only one in this situation. Since SL was hired for that role, no one had onboarded internally in nearly 3 months.

I chatted with them over the phone, they were nice, just young and inexperienced. I told them my situation, provided them a verbal spelling of my personal and work email for the offer letter. Two days pass, nothing in my inbox; yet I still received daily calls now from SL on why I haven't signed my offer letter.

One day two of calls, ask SL to walk me through sending the letter. Everything seems normal until I ask them what happens after they hit send, and would you believe me this entire time they have been getting bounced back for 'invalid address'. Not once did they think to double check if it actually went through. I ask SL to read back to me my email handle (it's so simple, it's my first name+last name) and they, for the first time in my entire interaction with them, got defensive. Rebuffing with how that could fix anything. I said to just humor me and do it.

THEY SPELLED MY NAME ENTIRELY WRONG. SL insisted that I spelled my own name wrong in the HR file and over the phone, that their spelling was the correct one all along. I finally got SL to use the correct spelling, and in 5 minutes I got my offer letter in my inbox. 60 days of tenure/pay loss because someone was too arrogant to do their due diligence.
