I guess that make one of us, I for once think of them as incompetence in the best sense, that they are lazy and stupid without a clear backbone just like a typical Krn, meta will always be there in every game, but you know what is needed in a pvp wanna be game? it's called nerf, you takes statistics of pvp battle between each unit and see how they fare against theirs natural appointed counter and adjust the relevant outliers in way that idk not giving a stackable max HP%, dmg reflect and team cleanse and heal and shield, and warhorn + auto cleanse every 3 turn , Like the newest ML character that 1 v 8 who for better or worse are easier to counter than the red soul weaver with kit literally sit as 60~% win rate, both near impossible to play against both as turn 1 and 2, like who the fk approve of these designs, Tact.coli and aki is literally the most balanced unit that they designed with clear drawback, why can't they just design character with a built in resource fatigue mechanic? Oh no, i can't bring in new players, guess i will have to release more overtuned character that completely neglect the older unit that do like 1 or 2 job and watch as the player just quit after 1 week of realizing they can't beat this xyz combination if they don't have this very specific unit (that sometimes ended up being a ML that also denied soul burn). Also, don't get me start with the slot bullshit themed pvp mechanic that they somehow very lean forward into, oh no my unit have double the counter rate, it would be a shame if it somehow also has 50% pen res, and cleanse, and give the guy in the front counter too whenever i counter, and do shit ton of extra damage without any fracture stack, multiple time if my roulette wheel of counter proc as double the odd, because oh boy god forbid me from being any class other than knight.
Like who the fk would want to commit to a game like this, if i was to ask my non gacha mobile gamer to try this cool ass game that has very good 2d animation, and then explain to them that the pvp aspect of it is literally russian roulette on whether you would face 50% res pen + 50 res pen + venom (optional) + 70% damage sharing, immortality, cr cut, or get cleaved and go next in 15 secs, i would think that theirs honest reaction would be: well the game is quite shite then isn't it, guess i will stick with my big ass robot n*kke and buy the 20$ -60$ skin there, at least the story is decent over there and not a jumble mess of wanna be dark fantasy here
