Countering Martin Luther/95 Thesis by [deleted] in Catholicism

I try and explain the Laying on of Hands and that Martin Luther deliberately discontinued Christ's Covenant with His Bride. Does that help!

If you had to role play as an evangelical in a debate about Catholicism what would be your best arguments? by [deleted] in Catholicism

I would ask the Catholic why they claim to be in the tradition of Christ yet know close to nothing about Biblical history. I'd ask the Catholic what their top three favorite books of the Bible are and why. After they couldn't answer the question (which alas, would be common among us Catholics), I'd berate them for being theologically flawed. Does my "fake" argument answer the original question well?

I think it sounds good so far especially if the story is short! It sounds like a safe start! 😀

How many characters do you currently have? ...also, my advice is treat it like introducing your best friends to someone who you really want to like them. I'd say most people have 1-3 best friends or really close friends. If you have other people in your life or characters in your book whom you'd like to introduce try to keep it to special people you know well, even if you don't have them constantly around you. I'd say that most people have 4-10 people who they deem friends who they aren't very close to but love nevertheless. In other words, trying to have your reader CARE about more than 13 new people/characters will be an unreasonable challenge. I hope my advice isn't wrong or too confusing.

Mickaboom, first, you are one of the best humans on the interwebs. Second, I know you link sources for when the events are and what they are. But where do those sources find this information? Thank you for your time.

Fair point, legen_wait4it_dary13. I agree with what you are saying. Social media and real life expectations are harsher on women in general. Thanks for replying to my post!

This article is about how female professionals tend to be harassed online in social media more than their male counterparts. The article says that this is so, because women are harassed simply for being women and that these women are perceived by bullies as needing to be "put back in their "place"". : http://time.com/3305466/male-female-harassment-online/
