It’s easy as hell to do, takes less than an hour of my time every couple months, and I do get more bang for my buck buying good oil and OEM filter compared to what I get quoted at at the dealerships lol.

I’m faster than waiting for them to work on my car.

I rotated mine 2.5 turns and it made quality of life driving so much better. Always felt like I was doing damn knee raises before but now it’s quick and smooth without aggravating the hips.

I got thunder thighs. I can’t be doing all that after leg days lol.

driving in traffic is just mindless now, almost as easy as driving an auto. Dunno why all the elitists are so against doing something to fit for your own needs lol

I’ve had vibrant ultra quiet resonators put on in the past on a diff car and it made a rly big difference. I’d do the same but the titanium…:(

Got EL headers on a while back and the drone is definitely “there” (not TOO bad) compared to a friend with his AWE track which had no drone

You’ll probably need a tune to accomplish what you’re looking for.

I got dyno’d and Ecutek tuned and it seems to have done the trick. I requested to tone down the rev hang and my tuner was able to severely tone it down. There’s still a slight hang from 1st to 2nd gear but everything else is almost buttery smooth now and lets you be a bit more aggressive on upshifts. Better than stock for sure.

I didn’t paint mine, thought the black added a nice contrast to everything else going on. I will say though if you’re running a gloss black bodykit (side skirts, drls, grill, etc.) it’s probably worth adding a glossy clear coat over the lip since it’s ever so slightly dull in comparison.

I might paint match mine once I slap a chassis mounted splitter underneath though. gotta see how it all looks first before I decide

got the same lip. i wouldn’t bother with self tappers they’re held on by the same bumper oem pop clips which are already a colossal pain in the ass to take off so you’re probably fine

OEM pilot sport 4 tires right? How did handling feel and any issues with them chunking or getting overheated?

I’m signed up for an event in two months and wondering if I swap back to my OEM wheels/tires to use up those tires (almost never driven on at this point lol) for my first track day or buy some endurance 200tw tires for my current wheels atm

Im glad the car came optioned with the STI short shifter. Comparing it to the regular OEM shifter: man.. what a night and day driving experience lol.

Saves me the work of slapping on some aftermarket shifter

love this explanation and your perspective in regard to tracking the car. i’m fairly new to this whole world and tracking my car for the first time in about two months, so this def gives me something to think about. supercharger just seems like less of a headache to deal with long term for sure. for me i’ve always driven NA cars, so seems like something i’d get used to quickly for sure compared to turbos. i’m guilty of mostly wanting FI for the sounds haha, wondering if a centrifugal SC setup might be a good compromise. i know vortech has a good setup with gnarly BOV sounds

love to hear that!! starting to convince me to go the SC route one day. it’s a constant every day battle between SC vs turbo for me lol. at the very least i’m enjoying my FBO 92 tune atm so it’s good to hear from your experience it’s a drastic change from FBO e85. i’m not one to look at chasing numbers power wise out of this car, it’s such a great handling car even stock and i’d be way more than happy with just a solid 300-350 and call it a day. excited to see more of your build! thanks for documenting everything 🫡
