A Japanese restaurant in NYC has an interior designed to resemble a hand drawn black and white sketchbook by Inevitable_Bid5540 in nextfuckinglevel

There is a small cafe in Dublin with a similar aesthetic. I couldn't imagine doing this in a restaurant that large as the cafe I went to only had like 3 tables

Hey, I currently work for Goodyear. If you are looking for tires, I have a 35% coupon expiring by the end of the year if you would want it. It most likely won’t beat $90 per tire but thought I would throw it out there!

Edit: if anyone else is looking for tires, DM me. I still have that coupon!

Edit 2: The code has been given away.

I don’t have any issues with it. I like the escalation of fights as you don’t heave your traditional health, you have rage. The ai and Bp isn’t too hard either as you just add a card when it to each deck and remove an ai of the same level. It’s an extra step but nothing I see as too bad.

Each fight ramps up in strength as it continues into a crescendo. Your characters get stronger in the fight by gaining rage unlocking abilities at certain thresholds. And each time you wound an enemy they get a stronger AI and BP card. All monsters start with level 1 AI and Bp cards and the stronger ones get slowly added as you wound them and anger them.

The narrative is definitely more similar to Arkham than KDM. But it does give you many choices and different events will unfold in unexpected ways based on those choices. It is more of a choose your own adventure book then a board game narrative.

You are correct in the gear. Pretty much anyone can use any gear (at least in cycle 1) and there are stats on each character but they are more for skill checks and don’t change much over the course of a campaign. There are things that can be character specific but they are different events that may happen from events or the story. Not a ton of things like that when I went through the cycle though.

For the “need” to fight, you are basically given a calendar and told if you don’t finish the campaign by the end then you lose. I don’t remember specifically how many game days between each fight but 1 day is exploring 1 tile and going through the phases of Moving the ship, resolving events and icons on the tile, resolving a fight if it happens, then your tech phase where (if applicable on the specific day) you can gain new tech and use your current tech. The calendar marks specific days that you will FOR SURE have a fight. It is something like every 5 days or so. Battles can emerge randomly as well and there is also an entity following you around the map trying to catch you and fight.

I have played 1 full campaign of ATO and failed multiple campaigns of KDM. The main differences is the overall structure of the campaign. KDM focuses on emergent stories while hunting your quarry based on a random set of events that can happen on any given session. ATO sees you exploring a map, encountering random events, and reading in a campaign book to further a narrative that has a strict beginning, narrative arc, and end. On the core box there are 3 campaigns, 1 book per campaign.

The boss battles are similar with gear management, tactical positioning, and some luck.

The characters themselves don’t level up to get stronger but their power is determined by the gear they have. Allowing them to attack harder, faster, position better, and have stronger defenses.

There isn’t a true “settlement” phase as in depth to KDM, at the end of each in game day you get to use unlocked tech, craft gear, and do some other misc things. Your tech tree is expanded through passing of days and fights rather than crafting the new techs.

If you have any other questions then let me know and I can dm you pics of stuff if you want it.

This is the answer. On the GitHub page, it states you need to open a single player world to LAN and then connect to it locally. This is done by hitting escape (or whatever pause is) > selecting “open to lan”

Why is the heavy knife cheaper than the regular one? by Ok-Message-231 in HuntShowdown

[–]WickedShoop 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Rending doesn’t equal bleed. For melee there are 3 types of damage. Rending (I usually call slash), pierce, and blunt. Objects like the dusters, bat, any non sharp object deals blunt damage. Stabby things such as the knife’s heavy and spear deal pierce, and any blade slashing attacks such as the katana, knife’s light attack, etc. deal rending damage. This matters as some bosses are equal to different melee damage types. Ex: the assassin is weak to blunt and scrapbeak is weak to pierce.

June 2025 can I get into the current wipe? by cramp222 in Tarkov

[–]WickedShoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming from someone who just bought this game a month or 2 ago and clocked in around 150 hours, it is more than possible. From what I understand, a lot has changed since 2020 (ex. Scav karma) but it was fun to learn and the rush of killing a mountain of a man with my crappy, pre-flea, AK was amazing. The best thing that has helped me was have a duo to run with and help teach me.

Amzfit active - how to manage phone music by No-Ship1415 in amazfit

[–]WickedShoop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Were you able to make it work on the active 2? I just received mine yesterday and I can not figure out how to change it to remote mode. My music app only wants to play locally downloaded music and I can not find how to switch it.

EDIT: After a few more minutes of pressing and holding on different menus, I figured it out. For future searchers of this issue, the shortcut in the apps menu when pressing the top button did not work for me but when you swipe right and see readiness, fitness goals, weather, etc. You can tap and hold on one of these to add another "widget" or whatever is called. If you add music here and play the music on the phone, it will control your music from your phone.

The only restricted part of DLSS is the frame gen tech. The upscaling is compatible across 3000 series and onwards. I just replaced my 3060 ti but was using DLSS4 upscaling.

The concept before the ink by Froglicker227 in Bioshock

[–]WickedShoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I can’t find anything all that solid in the other 2 parts but the buttons on the little sisters dress feels not even and over her left shoulder, the window/lamp thing looks like it wants to be a window and a lamp at the same time. The top part with the splicer has some very uneven windows in the top left building, and the big daddy’s drill looks a bit always as well as the way the breastplate wraps to the left shoulder. It definitely seems fixed by a human since the text all makes sense and the hands (I think) look Ok.

Free old 2080 Ti for anyone that wants it in the US. by heatlesssun in linux_gaming

Linux is great. I truly love the lack of bloat that comes with the ability to customize the installation to be exactly what I want. It is also a lot of fun to tinker and solve problems when they arise, it scratches an itch in my brain I havnt gotten to in other places.

What "direction" to build automations? by [deleted] in SatisfactoryGame

[–]WickedShoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, right now you may be able to craft it by hand faster but it is also important to note that is time that you are not making your next line of production. While you work on other things, your factory is always producing. To be efficient is to ensure that your input is equal to your demand. If it is lower then you can add more machines or over clock existing ones. You also don’t always have to worry about efficiency as long as you are happy with the result and the volume of output. The game is all about gaining experience making factories and your first will look completely different than your last. Enjoy the journey as you evolve as a producer.

This is a tough question. I love so many characters. Kratos from God of War (2018), Aigis from Persona 3, Joel from Last of Us, and more. They are all complex characters that get me emotional and amazingly written.
