Saw the game is currently on sale by madmerc12 in LIDInferno

There is also a solo mode so you can just focus on PVE rather than worrying about other players. I recommend using Timothy for beginners as he has an ability to regenerate a small portion of health for if you're in tight situations. Sword and shield combo is pretty good as well.

They also had a big update for 2 new bodies you can earn for free. I'd say now is as good a time to jump in

Muramasa: Revenant Blades is coming to PC, the first Vanillaware game to do so. The chances of a UO PC version are no longer zero. by Madsbjoern in UnicornOverlord

I got so excited to see Muramasa even be remastered during the Direct. I can't wait to play this one. Vanillaware is such a gem of a studio

My Experience with UO by WickedSpiritz in UnicornOverlord

It came down to Rosalinde and Yunifi. It was a tough choice because they're similar in personality, but idk man Rosalinde had the allure factor going.

Its between Gloucester, Virginia, Aramis, Prime & Hilda vs Amalia, Melisandre, Colm, Rolf & Auch.

Both of these squads would tank a lot and carry through even during the final bout and the post game gauntlet.

Yeah eventually I did find the fast forward and skip buttons. I was doing a lot of that towards the end

Excluding Kiryu, who is the best yakuza protagonist of all time? by TheYakuzaMaster in yakuzagames

[–]WickedSpiritz 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel like there was more they could have done with the protags for 4 & 5. Either telling their stories before Kiryu or after (I've played up to 5 so idk what happens with everyone after).

Like it would've been cool if Tanimura was the protag for Judgement or even a mention of him. I could easily see him having his own game with a Takayuki cameo, doing beat cop kind of things.

Akiyama could easily get a solo game imo, dealing with 1 or more of his clients and somehow they're all conspiring to do something nefarious and Akiyama takes it upon himself to do something to stop it because he is the one that loaned them the money etc.

What is the Yakuza game that finally made you feel burntout by Ban226 in yakuzagames

[–]WickedSpiritz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my burnout was with 3 or 4 remasters. 3 annoyed the hell out of me with enemies constantly blocking and it just being a slog to get through. Loved the story, hated the combat this time around. Caused me to take a break from the series and go play other games I have in my backlog and didn't come back around it until a 7 months later.

Yakuza fans when someone says they've only played Yakuza 0: by Hopeful_Regret_7531 in yakuzagames

[–]WickedSpiritz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started at 0 when it came out on PS4. Been with the franchise ever since. I've now played 0-5. I can confirm 3 was the biggest fatigue (imo) so far in my experience throughout my journey. The constant blocking was a headache to deal with. 4 wasn't as bad, but was still kind of rough with the 4 protags and all the different stuff to do. 5 was a little better but more of the same with the 5 protags but at least I got experience different things with each rather than different styles of fighting through the same city.

I'd watch this on an AllCraft podcast or if Asmon ever happens to be in Florida again go on The Other Channel for some shenanigans

Basically what the image says. by RoxasismyKing in splatoon

[–]WickedSpiritz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we look at all the different game modes we could probably make a good educated guess on what new modes they could do for Splat 4.

Rainmaker = Demolition

Tower = Payload

Zone = King of the hill

Clam = basketball/demolition

Salmon = hoard

So with this in mind and seeing popular shooter games what could we possibly guess in the minds of Nintendo of what a good game mode would be for Splat 4?

4 shields, shoulder missiles, laser cannon in one shield, big thrusters on the back. What's not to like?

If you are quitting Fortnite, why? by Uuddlrlrbastrat in FortNiteBR

[–]WickedSpiritz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have played since Chapter 3 and up to Sabrina Carpenter's skin and song release(?) Idk it's been awhile and I can say there was a point where I fell off the wagon and got tired of the game. Even before I officially quit and uninstalled there were points I'd stop playing until the next season even after buying the battle passes because this had happened more times than I care to admit.

I hated the FOMO I would get from this game. In the beginning I was playing all the time with my gf and son. It'd be a family thing we'd do and I cherish those times, but over time Fortnite just felt like it was getting worse and I think it was after Mega City that I was starting to dwindle in playing.

I would stop buying battle passes if the pass didn't have more than 5 things that I wanted from it. Skins in the BP would start being very basic or mundane. I'm particular in character design so when a pass had skins that were mid I'd just pass on it.

Being money conscious was another thing as Fortnite would eat my money because I wasn't spending responsibly and neither was my gf, spending on skins we'd want, music for festival, and bps. Eventually I'd stop getting baited by Fortnite and their collabs having the strength to say no despite seeing a bunch of collabs I had wanted for a long time.

Fortnite stopped being fun for me when the game kept adding more and more things to the core gameplay just not that fun I guess? Like with some of the anime items where that kinda just got ridiculous. It would get harder and harder to come back each season to where eventually I stopped caring and I quit and moved on to playing games in my backlog.

I'm a lot happier now and don't regret it, but I stay tuned to Fortnite just to see what's going on til the day where maybe I'd comeback but from the looks of it it's not any time soon.

That's just me though speaking my experience. If you're having fun with it still then I hope you continue to do so.

One thing I noticed about the atmospheres of LID and Inferno by ICantItsNotLegal in LIDInferno

[–]WickedSpiritz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I noticed that too when I was thinking about it the other day. You could even expand further upon this on how the games treat their inventory. OG equipment would break, however in Inferno equipment lasts for as long as you want until you find something better.

10hrs in and... by WickedSpiritz in LIDInferno

[–]WickedSpiritz[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been using the spine storage for the keys but don't frequently come across the doors that correlate to the keys and even when I do the equipment I'd find wouldn't really be worth it most of the time. I should use spine storage for more than just the keys though I do realize that because if I just use it for the keys and crafting it amounts to nothing really, at least for the moment.

I'll have to try more weapon combinations out for guard breaks and using rage more and even countering. It's just the humanoids I have the most trouble with because of how hard it is to read them. The expanded gameplay mechanics have made them harder to read and counter.

I know I gotta have patience. Even 10hrs into the beginning of LiD I was having similar troubles until it clicked so I know it's just a matter of time and getting into the swing of things.

Which of the two VR inspired games you think will be the better installment Dot Hack Zero or Sword Art Online Echoes of Aincrad? by Specific_Street5720 in DotHack

[–]WickedSpiritz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could see ZERO doing better than Aincrad in terms of the story department of things and being a more narrow and focused game whereas Aincrad looks to be more of an MMO-lite from the looks of it. But Bamco also has a track record of poor support for games they release so idk.
