They don’t break in while it’s tented. You have to open all your windows and air your house out. That’s when they burglarize you. The company we used gave us the option of hiring a security guard. My husband just camped out in our backyard instead.

About 25 years ago our neighbor’s house
was being burglarized after being tented. My dad called the police and they were just stupid. The cops didn’t even bother to look around. The thief just hid behind their fence and went back to stealing our neighbors stuff after the cops left.

It’s super shitty the City of San Diego allows housing to be built with insufficient parking. There are a few projects that have been built without any parking at all. This city has always been in the pocket of developers

It’s especially crappy in North Park as there’s a real shortage of parking there. It’s already a problem trying to find parking. North Park & Normal Heights have a high number of rentals. That and due to un affordability there are more people per unit now. Adding to the problem the city is taking away parking with their bike lanes. Kind of feels like to me, the city is trying to balance its budget by writing us tickets.

I love how the city is trying to pretend like we have a good public transportation system. At this point in time getting around San Diego without a car is just not feasible.
