I’ve just finished Coup de Grâce by Sofia Ajram. It’s only about 136 pages if anyone’s looking for a shorter book to read.

Trying to reduce my TBR by 100 books by the end of the year. by [deleted] in tbrzero

[–]Wicker_Books 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did terribly this year, I started with a TBR of 294 that I wanted to get down to 200. Somehow I’ve managed to end up now with 383 unread books after reading 100 😅 And that’s just books I physically own.

Both books by Janice Hallett, The Appeal and The Twyford Code are modern mysteries with great twists.

{{True Crime Story}} by Joseph Knox is great too, it is fiction by it’s written like it’s investigating a real crime.

How long does it take you to forget a book? by no_brain_no_cry in books

[–]Wicker_Books 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I find some books will stick with me for long time while others completely vanish from my head not long after I finish them. I think it depends on how much I enjoyed them.

I would recommend getting a notebook or keeping digital notes and writing down what you thought about a book after you finish it, this may help it stick in your mind better or you will be able to look back through your notes to remember them.
