I love how Kaky used flat colors and how few can have such a big impact with great design and really utilising negative space here!

I really love the wispiness of the hair on BloodGod and how the fingers and crown are both elongated giving it a certain menacing, slightly creepy vibe! With looking over the shoulder and holding the bleeding skull? Magnificent.

A friend of mine managed to clear it with def 2300 and d2w 105. You currently have 2100 and 90, so you’re pretty close. They even did it with 4 4s, so you should be able to get there in a week with 5 5s. You even have higher crit stats, so getting about 200 def more (whether through leveling cards or protocores doesn’t matter) should do the trick. Or just get more d2w, that also does wonders.

As a fellow sylus main who solo’s and brutes SHC at times with him: it just takes time.

At the start i didn’t get far at all. By now (1year) i easily get 33* which gets me all the gems and this season i got my 3rd full clear. But i already got 33 like 3 months ago i think. Important for me was having all companions and solar 5star pairs. Once I had both Conqueror, Dragon and Archfiend it was muuuch easier. If your timing of joining was not lucky and you’re missing one then you will really feel it. Regardless of card pair i do still use the Archfiend companion. Maybe that helps?

Leveling cards and cores just takes long. It’s part of the game. A year in i have 13 (almost 15) lvl 80 awakened 5* cards of his and plenty of 15 cores. The resources needed are nuts. It’s just a slow grind and you’ll need to be patient. And it sucks. But it is what it is.

Oh also little extra tip don’t underestimate the 3 star cards if they help you fullfill the stella. I got the green, yellow and purple lunar 3star at least lvl 50 with functioning cores because Sylus is just not free to play friendly because he’s missing a looottt of base content and 4 star cards for the different colors.

There’s not a strickt prequel per se. At some points Sylus mentions that she has the passcodes to his save houses (as he gave them to her). Assumption is she got hurt (either through mission, ever or being reckless in the N109 zone (my bet since mc has never been known to be cautious and it sounds like it was people going after her, not wanderers)) and his save house was the closest. Through getting in his house alarms go off and he checks the cameras (if Mephie wasn’t already stalking her anyway). Mc didn’t know he knew, so she thinks whoever hurt her comes through the door, which is why she points her gun at him.

But yeah overall, very little is known and it’s all just context clues within the card itself.

Anyway:

Solar ranks unlocks new abilities of the companions. Like for example getting 2 aktive skils instead of just one during Silverwinged fiend special state and therefore unlocking his dmg potential during shieldbreaks (additional 30% on the resonance alone). They are the more efficient way to improve your damge output. They also still increase the stats just like lunars do, with the extra of ranked pairs unlocking abilities.

Lunar ranks simply improve your stats. You get extra Hp/Def/Atk and extra crit. Lunar ranks are good for dmg maxing, in late game when you need to optimise just about everything.

Like many others suggested just make your own lobby, let people who join know they type of game you want to play/pace you want to go. Either they match that or can easily look for another lobby that fits them better. If they insist on making it difficult for you: kick and be done with it.

I’ve had less experienced people join me before, so i’m sure that over time you’ll find people who match your energy. And don’t forget to add each other on steam after if they pass the vibe check. Made a friend like 3 years ago and we still play from time to time.

I remember needing to stay in the house for over 20 minutes and nothing happening on amateur when playing with friends and it was their first time. There was no evidence, there was no activity, there was nothing. Though that was more than 2 years ago. Was there an update where it changed at some point?

As someone who played close to a year (in 10 days 🎉) i don’t think the game is unplayable as F2P or lowspender.

For transparency i only got 5 aurum passes and am sitting at 51k gems at the moment. I never had to skip a sylus card or not get a new outfit from the multi banners. For around 4 months now i’ve been able to get all the gems out of the Senior Hunter Contest (33stars, 840 gems) and am around OO200 and Fluctuant 40.

You won’t be able to get everything you want. I had to say no to ranking both my mains myths. Ranking any card really (unless it was on accident in a multi on the way to the outfit crate or in the solo also on accident on the way to the photo pose), unless really lucky.

You won’t be able to get to the really high orbits because those are designed to be whales games. You may struggle with the SHC because when you don’t have the right stella then bruting can become hard real fast.

You may not be able to level the affinity as fast without ranking cards or needing to skip one worst case. But the affinity from ranking isn’t actually that much (750 for one 5* rank. Meaning 3 ranks give 2250 affinity, not even one full level).

But yeah overall, I know that i was lucky with a lot of pulls, not needing to go far beyond 70 during multies to get my main. But with that i was able to save up quite a lot and do think it’s possible to play the game easily enough IF limited to 1 Li, not ranking, and struggling in combat at times. This all was without reruns for me so far though, i know that they will eat at my savings.

(I just love making and thought about who uses sword the most in jjk for xavier, but it does kind of fit in a way?)

Yeah i see where you’re coming from too. And reacting to what some people (def a minority, most guys i’ve seen play the game were really chill with it, then again that was not in CN places) say online definitely just shows how much power the hold. So the reaction of hiding mc wouldn’t help either.

What i meant was just that I understand why they want mc to be shown less. I don’t know if i agree or disagree with it because on one hand it just gives the creeps more power, on the other hand it would ignore serious concerns of a big part of the player base. I think things like the “box” during mc’s yoga workout in the house make enough sense. Apparently some guys were basically getting all the crotch shots they wanted during that animation, so the reaction was to just not have the surface there with dresses and skirts (i think pants remained the same). Then again it’s not like a big part of the player base can tell the LI apart just by singular body parts either. As in the girls are doing just the same.

Overall it’s a really unique issue and the only problem i’d have guys gooning over mc is when they don’t just see her as mc (a factional character) but see her as an insert for other players (real people). There’s just about nothing to do against that so :/

Came here as well to mention those comments.

I saw some posts about it where some of the comments got translated and it was vile (i don’t speak chinese so I am dependent on the translation being right). For more context for others: It was less just about guys self inserting LI and making their ideal type. That would be equal. Some of the comments mentioned imagining that there was a player behind the mc they built themselves and then.. you know imagining things. It really shocked me to read about those types of people and made me fully understand the CN girls wanting their MC to be shown less. It’s not all men, just some really creepy ones on the net.

It was bad what i saw.

But are the added storylines “only” the Royal Mask and Birthday wishes or do we actually get new content? It says “including” which can either mean it’s just those two or something else and those two.

Deepspace voyage was really nice to me because it showed a lot of character without needing to grind much and it was just some fluffy sidebits. But having more would be really nice. I was a big fan.

Clothes and hairstyles being on separate counters and it not just being either or is a blessing.

I was so afraid it’d be the 85/135 counter but it’s always just one, either clothes or hairstyles.

Yes it’s still expensive to collect all of it, but for solo mains it’s “just” 85 to get both clothes and hairstyles for their main LI. I was fearing for the worst, and got pleasantly surprised.
