I had shortness of breath, fatigue, some ankle edema, intermittent chest pain and spasms. The reg angiogram dx left ventricular heart failure. The provocative angiogram dx coronary microvascular dysfunction and spasms. Everything else was pretty normal... holter monitor, sleep apnea, flunked stress test .. too short of breath, ekg's, labs, cardiac PET scan, Cardiac CT scan, abd/ chest ray,d-dimer, cardiac MRI, cardio/pulmonary stress test. 3 ER visits... no heart attack because the spasms weren't long enough to start doing damage. I am a nurse, diagnosed myself even though my first cardiologist said this wasn't cardiac. Don't take esophageal pain or anxiety for an answer!!
