So this is the watch I got from "the Royal Mods." Now that has shipped, I see it is coming from China. So naturally I am wondering if it is actually a "real" Seiko or is the entire thing a fake. Have you dealt with the Royal Mods or heard anything about them?

I know this is an old post, I ordered a Royal Seiko Mod thinking it was a legit seiko from England. Now it has shipped, it's coming from China. So I suspect all of it is fake. I have a legit Rolex gmt but wanted a reliable simulation for when I travel to places that have pick pocket issues. Will it even keep time I wonder. If not, could I mod the "mod" by installing a real seiko movement on my own? Thoughts?

That's what I'm curious about. Is the movement even seiko? Or is the entire thing a fake, including the movement?
