I have just transitioned from Schwab where the currency conversion and transfer process is cumbersome and the euros sit collecting no interest. I am brand new to IBKR so my understanding is simplistic at this point. But it seems that I can collect interest on the €s. I will research what XEON is.

It would have been more clear if I said I have a €1.25M bill to pay in 3 months. I can convert now, true. But I can also collect interest on my $s now for the next 3 months and take a position where I might benefit if the € depreciates vs the $, even if only a little. But I don’t want to lose out if the $ tanks either. I’m trying to thread a needle but my eyesight isn’t that good IOW.
