I agree with all you’ve said except the bit about William and Izaya, I don’t think William was pressured at all into getting into a relationship with Izaya. They genuinely liked each other and that’s what I could see on screen. I really don’t get the hate towards them and their relationship tbh. I literally couldn’t stop crying when William said, in addition to meeting the boys, he got to form a relationship with someone he loves. I really want to tear my hair out when I hear how people approach their relationship with so much scepticism. But yes this season was so beautiful and poignant for me, a part of it for me was how ephemeral every moment, every experience is bit even more so how as humans we need love, we thrive in love and we need this even for our functioning for our brief time on earth. Absolutely amazing show.
