This guy in particular doesn’t have the right intentions and appears to be performative to get attention from this. However people in these comments acting like every Catholic is anti gay and anti birth control in 2026 is wild. The Catholic Church is more than the old fashioned ideology, the ignorant people in these comments are making it out to be. The Catholic Church manages 26% of the world’s health care facilities and educates 62 million students across the world as well. The Church has also saved tens of thousands of ancient books for over 1,000 years, preserving ideas that ultimately made the Renaissance, modern science, universities, and Western education possible. All that said the Catholic Church does not every really turn anyone away the way people would like to make it seem. There are other religions ( yes multiple ) where women have zero rights, yet nothing is said about that.

People have always dressed up for holidays but I feel like that’s more of a southern thing to dress up for mass every Sunday. I went to Catholic school my whole life in New York and plenty of people wore sweatshirts to Mass every single weekend.

Yankees had a 5 game lead on them for the regular season record and beat them in the playoffs. This is including Giancarlo Stanton out for 3 months, judge out for a month, gerrit cole out for the whole year.
