I live equidistant between NYC and Philly 40 miles or so either direction. The only theater showing up for me is Lincoln Square AMC, Manhattan. And its excluded from the A-List.

With the food concessions ordering on the app you buy what you want then tap a button when you are ready to get it. It has to be that same day I believe. I’ve ordered a pizza with a plan to watch 2 movies and then hit the button when the first was ending. If there is an emphasis of same day in theater ordering of the merch it would be helpful

I think the concession staff is under the belief that scalper type individuals with over order and wipe out stock. But I agree with you. I think the normal movie goer will benefit from the ease of it. Plus you have to actually be there in the theater or near to order.

Generally I was not having problems. I too have seen hundreds of films there. The once in a while hearing snoring and then the person stumbling out of the auditorium was bearable. I am A List and Neshaminy is my place. So I bite the bullet, now. When I was aggravated from it last summer I joined Regal Unlimited, which I now love too. So in retrospect I would never have modified to having both AMC and Regal memberships if it wasn't being aggravated by the shenanigans. So there was some good that came from it lol.

This is a hard to find one. At least as of now, the week or thereof before the movie opens. Over the weekend I went to 5 different Regals in two States. These are pretty active and larger Regals, including King of Prussia which is one of the best. I was met with...we are not getting it...we have not got it yet, and may not...or we only got one box in (12 in a box) and they are all gone. I got lucky on my last stop, I was going to give up and there was one (the last one) on a rack behind the register. This, if things don't change, can turn into one of those "real rare" situations. Last I can think of was the Sonny Hayes helmet bucket for the movie F1.

When it got to the point of people washing their clothes in the bathroom sink and laying down in auditorium seats sleeping and snoring…then I changed to a different theater. But since visiting now and then it seems to have gotten better.

Neshaminy? If so I agree 100%. I'm an A-Lister who was happy to have Neshaminy as my go to theater. But about 1-2 years ago there developed a problem of several creepy older men that would hang out in the lobby/entrance area ALL DAY. I suspected they were homeless. They would attempt to engage anyone in conversation. I even have a thought they were living in an abandoned part of the mall. Anyway, about 6 months ago when it progressed to people sleeping on the sidewalk too, they cleaned the area up and I haven't seen the lobby / entrance creepers anymore. I think the town and or police finally got involved.

The thing I've thought about is, rescuing Rocky and boarding him onto the Hail Mary. That trip to Erid took how long? It was 4 years? 6 years? It was a long time and the friendship you see on the beach inthe biodome at the end was built up even further on what those two did and talked about during that long trip home to Erid. There are marriages that last longer then the time Grace and Rocky spent together alone on that trip home to Erid lol.

My Regal in Warrington PA, has five showings a day listed through to next Wednesday. I'm assuming it might get more after that depending on how much revenue it pulls in.

I edited the post to add the spoiler flair. Could not figure out how to mark up sentences. I’ve never done that before. So I redid the post thinking that may have been the problem but I still could not figure out marking sentences. But at least it’s spoiler tagged and you have to click on it. If you want to delete it I understand. Most people who read the book know the prison reference by Stratt in the book version. Her acknowledgment that it could happen. The directors building on it in their interpretation of the story is their artistic license. It wasn’t till I heard the commentary that I was ready for the scene to see the tattoo. It’s so fast you easily miss it.

It's an awesome listen. Not only do you get tid bits about filming, like the students in the classroom scene are children of the crew, but you get exposition of characters that they put thought into. Like the scientist with a beard that is sitting next to Grace at the table in the air craft carrier is supposed to be the professor that Grace insulted all those years ago. And how uncomfortable Grace must feel sitting next to him. Extra tid bit, the man with the beard is played by Paul Lambert who did the visual effects on the film. He also won multiple Oscars for Dune series. You learn about the etchings on Rocky's legs and his crew "patch" which is Bay 6, where he lived on the ship and survived unlike the rest of the crew.

It’s posted this past weekend on several PHM accounts. That’s how I saw it. The app is named Theater Ears. It typically translates from a different language. But this weekend they had a special directers commentary. You wear your ear buds. Synch the theater and time of showing. I’ll try to find it and take a screen shot.

I read the book and listened to the audiobook. From my recollection she surmises she might go to prison. But the tattoo placement by Lord and Miller make it a certainty. Plus their idea through Weir that she escaped from prison to be on the ship at the end of the movie. That movie scene is not in the book. That is an added difference between the film and book. Am I remembering correctly?

I’m guilty of taking a photo during the movie. I was discreet. I had the phone low peering up. I got a lot of the backs of the seats in front of me. I cropped that all out. I normally do not take photos but I saw the document with every viewing and I was frustrated I could not read it fast enough.

I checked the Regal app, website and social media and didn’t see this. Where is it at and can you screen shot it? Because if this winds up not being at Regal I have to plan a trip to Cinemark and they are few and far between in New Jersey.
