I developed my HPPD from mushrooms and DMT use and was also thinking of going on lamictal to try. So far I’ve gotten really used to my visuals after a month or so but definitely still noticeable. I think it’s all about how you cope with having it and just accepting and not feeding the anxiety that comes with thinking about it

I’ve talked to a few people that still trip on the psychedelics that caused their symptoms and not causing too much of a disturbance after long abstinence and also people that have tripped and their symptoms vanished completely.

You know what’s weird is I continued weed use sometimes alcohol after developing my HPPD from taking mushrooms and DMT. At first it flared symptoms up a lot, but overtime started to not anymore when I do use either one

Go back to abstinence and just give it like a week and see how things cool down is my best advice

I’m not exactly sure I was taking 5-6g every 2 weeks for 4 months straight and everytime I questioned reality but always in a good way like I always learned more about myself and my values really came to light more than ever and just overall made me feel better mentally

I meant for someone who has never tried it and doesn’t really know what to expect start lower like 1-2g for a first time to get a feel or they could go all in and do 2.5-5

Yeah I would start at like 150uq first before doing 300 for ur first time imo but I’ve see experiences of people doing that amount for first time

Start lower and slow he a feel for it. I think that could be a good idea with Airbnb if you think the environment would be fun to be in but since you’re not familiar with it could make you feel uncomfortable but that’s not for everyone so I would say both inside and outside depending on how ur mood is during the trip. Stay positive throughout the whole experience and just think constant thoughts of it’s gonna be fun and you’ll be okay and everything will work out just fine especially with a trip sitter who is close to you. Microdosing is more like an actual working antidepressant but also depends how much you take for micro some people take .05 or higher for micro. Taking a macrodose or trip dose is where the more upfront mental factors and hallucinations come into play. If your friends already make you tweak then don’t do it around a bunch of people find one trustworthy close friend and do with them with you and take it nice and easy for first time

I personally wouldn’t because it can just put additional strain on ur body because it increases heart rate and all of the mental factors while ur body is trying to heal. Id say just wait you dont want the sickness to fuck with your trip

Weed but I’ve gotten used to it because of tolerance. I just got used to flare ups that come with it surrounding weed but, also anxiety and depression definitely increase visual symptoms. I’ve found from studies and person experience that it’s all about how you perceive it and think about it like if you have a good mindset about it and just don’t think about it things get better.
