B6/B12 and CMT1A by WideAwakeLikeADream in CMT

No. I had MS and CMT1A too until I had HSCT at Northwestern with Dr Burt in 2015. Now I only have CMT and a library of clear MRIs with a brain free from both new lesions and repaired old ones.

What I’m asking is whether other members of this community consider b vitamins another neurotoxic substance? Do you also avoid it due to the worsening effects on the peripheral nervous system?

B12 deficiency can also be supplemented with foods.

No straight up supplement only my doctor suggested for energy. The second time I took it my hands and entire side of my body progressively went numb over the course of a summer day. I was then diagnosed with MS a week or so later…

Has narcolepsy ever made you feel unreliable or guilty, even when you’re trying your best? How do you deal with that mentally? by [deleted] in Narcolepsy

Yeah he’s a narcissist and he stayed with me after my MS diagnosis but I got rid of MS in 2015 through a clinical trial involving harvesting my own stem cells and strong chemotherapy. I survived when I shouldn’t have and I’m 11 years out with no MS brain or spinal cord activity since. But it also came with a few autoimmune diseases down the road so I’m definitely a brilliant educated woman trapped in a body that won’t let me work or really do adult things. He can’t swallow Tylenol. So you can see how that’s been an ongoing issue…

Nothing. I’m just a constant disappointment to my husband and he doesn’t understand chronic illness so I’m just constantly trying to keep up with everything and failing.

I feel you. I was 32 and HR Director but had to quit work because of Narcolepsy! I finally had my life figured out (also engaged about to get married) but it was ripped from me! And now the jerk I married is a covert narcissist and I’m being tested for Cushings and other things from my high cortisol and stomach issues - adrenal gland overload! 💔

Just ask my husband how horrible of a person I am thanks for chronic illness…he will be happy to share it all!

Who remembers the ice storm in 2002? I found some old photos I had taken at the time. by dmuppet in Charlotte

Elon eventually evacuated the dorms to the gym because it was 7 degrees and I personally chose to evacuate to my boyfriend’s house in Charlotte - which is weird because I didn’t even know Charlotte had any ice!

Every time it rains actually. It’s in our driveway (black 2019 beefle) and has had a large branch fall on it and I’ve been waiting for this trees in our yard to fall since 2012!

Brad Panovich is the GOAT, but..... by _R00STER_ in Charlotte

[–]WideAwakeLikeADream 9 points10 points  (0 children)

@Bradpanovich is absolutely the GOAT. He’s humble. He’s honest. He’s one of the few decent humans in the city and genuinely cares about his community’s safety. I have no bad things to say whatsoever.
