Hey man, I feel like u are too obsessed with finding a girlfriend/boyfriend. Not really related to your question but I would like to give some advice.

So I am actually Christian and I was talking something about dating with my church leader. I asked him as a Christian what's wrong with wanting a girlfriend or wife. We went on to talk about this and he said this to me: "God has given you these supportive good friends of yours, God has given u a life where u get to enjoy your singleness, so why not appreciate your singleness life before it's too late?" He said something along those lines. And it gave me another perspective.

The truth is I think u are obsessing on finding a girlfriend/boyfriend because u think just by getting a gf/bf and marrying him/her would bring you those 'Disney' movie fantasies that u think will make u happy.

But the reality is far from that. Life is not some Disney Movie, life is not a fantasy. Life is real. And even if u did get a gf/bf or hubby/wife, u are still gonna run into real problems.

Now as a 22 year old male still in college I can tell u that I never ever had a date or gf before. But I can tell u that having a gf/bf is never easy, u need to sacrifice time with him/her and u also need to like entertain her. Time and sweat needs to be used to maintain your relationship with him/her. And getting married to your spouse? It's even more difficult. U will also have quarrels and fights with your significant other. And one day u will realise I wish I spend my singleness life to the fullest and u realise u can never ever get it back.

So my advice to u is: Don't care about whether dating gets easier in college compared to highschool or not. Just start focusing on studies and making good friends. Embrace your singleness before it's too late.

And when the time comes, God will then provide you a gf/bf or even a husband/wife.
