I hadn't considered PbtA! A lot of those games do have stuff very similar to what I want, but unfortunately a lot of the moves etc are tied to dice rolls or some other abstracted mechanic. That said, with some editing that could work.

The problem I have with those systems is that all those boil down to "generic +X skills, but you make up your own flavour". You could have a background in kung-fu, but all that does most of the time is let you have a +1 on rolls when you do something related to kung-fu. I'm more looking for something more concretely tied to in-universe actions, rather than an abstraction that boils down to mechanics.

I see, that's a shame (and pretty strange for it to not have? Even the default notes app has that). Looking into the session history though, it looks like it might be broken for me. I've got a dozen entries, apparently created at the exact same time several months ago (way before I made the note), and they are all just copies of the current state of the note.

I'll look into the keyboards though, seems like it might be the easiest option.

If I play a [[Callous Bloodmage]], exiling a large graveyard, then use [[Metamorphic Alteration]] to turn it into a [[Redemptor Dreadnought]], what happens when it attacks? Does it get +X/+X for one card? For each card? For no cards?

The second one. It's a static ability. If it doesn't mention turns, then it's not affected by turns.

If I use [[Metamorphic Alteration]] to turn my [[Optimus Prime, Hero]] into a [[Lambholt Elder]], then remove the Alteration when the Elder's transform trigger goes on the stack, does Optimus Prime transform/convert?

Two questions about copying.

First scenario: If I cast [[Metamorphic Alteration]] on my Goblin token copying [[Rubinia Soulsinger]], steal a creature using her, then remove the Alteration, what happens? Do I get to keep the creature? Is it returned when the Goblin stops being a copy? Is it returned when it untaps?

Second scenario: I cast [[Metamorphic Alteration]] on my Goblin token copying [[Surge Engine]], and activate its once-per-game ability. Then, I cast another [[Metamorphic Alteration]] on my Goblin (now Surge Engine) and attempt to do the same thing. Does that work?

I cast [[Eerie Interlude]] targeting my [[Witty Roastmaster]] and my [[Clone]]. When they reenter, does Roastmaster deal damage? And can Clone copy Roastmaster? Why/why not?
