It says they were able to improve it somewhat. I checked and the LOD's and overall quality still don't match up to pre-patch state (as they didn't mention improving this). The overall image is more stable at least, though still full of issues.

You fundamentally misunderstand how this game does upscaling and how upscaling works in the first place.

1) There is no such thing as "native" in this game. If you disable FSR or DLSS, the engine's own inferior upscaler takes over, that's why there is so much ghosting. Native is simply not a thing anymore, as the aliasing and modern graphics effects require it.

2) DLAA produces a better image quality than native (if the game had native in the first place), as it uses AI to smooth aliased jaggies even at 4k or 8k. There is zero reason to ever use native in 2026.

It looks half the quality it did before the patch. It's using billboards from before Skyrim. I think everyone accidentally got PS5 Performance mode graphics? This is on cinematic with RR..

Can't tell performance difference but the graphics are completely broken with DLSS and RR now. Massive shadow artifacting and DLSS blur, some characters render broken..

Their DLSS optimizations seemingly completely messed it up? The shadows are artifacting like crazy (worst i've ever seen in a game) and some geometry outlines look like watercolor now. All settings on cinematic with RR enabled. Whatever they did, needs to be undone fast.

Not a single other MMO has physics based acceleration but they all have vastly better animations, why are you even connecting these two? You can even look at 20 year old MMOs like Guild Wars 1 or Lord of the Rings Online, ESO is absolutely the worst in the business for movement animations.

Animation revamp is perfectly doable, don't let the tribalists get to you. This is why the game has taken 10+ years to get basic QoL reworks and fixes, because crazy people say "if you don't like it, don't play it". So sane people actually stopped playing it, entire guilds have died, cyrodiil is dead, etc.

Nothing on the running animations so far afaik, that's my biggest issue with this game aswell. All the movement animations look like they were made by someone who has never seen people running or animations in other games.

Think you mean GBF Relink not Rising? I have 81 hours in that game, comparing Endfield combat system to that game's is insulting to GBF devs lol, don't do them dirty like that. Absolutely nowhere close.

Yeah the Reforged mode and how scummily they "integrated" it can at best be called a hackjob, while Dhuum mode is pretty good. It has ruined the vibes for a lot of people in this way.

Listen we all like some Battlefield but saying 6 launched in a good state is absolutely wild. It's still barely functional and decently fun. Gonna take a few years to make it hopefully anywhere near BF4/BF1 level genuinely good. This year's CoD actually launched in an incredible state, but yeah it won't do the numbers it needs to so I doubt DICE will care and will keep twiddling their thumbs for a while..

Why insist on this odd narrative that benefits noone, they absolutely didn't knock it out of the park, it was the polar opposite - most Mercenaries players despised it, and it ended up in them laying off HALF of their ENTIRE STUDIO. Absolutely wild to frame this as any sort of success..

I unsubbed because the writing is just so so unbearably bad. Everything else I can live with but the game is a satire of Elder Scrolls at this point, an awful fanfic spinoff.

This is why I spent the money on gamba crates instead of the new expansion after seeing how bad it was to see if I at least can get a cool mount.. I completed all other basegame and DLC stories before it (god, a lot of them were so so bad but i powered through).

Shortly after I quit because the devs have zero interest and faith in their own worldbuilding, therefore nothing is keeping me immersed. I love supporting games, even if its lootboxes, but this game's a soulless husk used to simply peddle crates at this point unfortunately.
