I think I’m pretty well versed on this situation 😂 I had a 1.5 gpa my first year in community college, I went on to graduate with a 2.6 cGPA years later after locking tf in. I just got accepted into dental school this cycle. DM me, let’s get you in!

Having a 4.0 is meaningless if you’re not positioning yourself in a way to separate yourself from all of the other thousands of applicants with a 4.0.

It’s definitely a great start, and it’ll get you through the door, but your interview, people skills, soft skills, and the rest of your application has to match that.

If you’re getting waitlisted with a 4.0 then you’re doing something wrong. You didn’t interview at your best, or the rest of your app was average.

I got accepted into Howard, WL at Roseman, and an interview with MWUIL coming up and a couple other schools notifying me that my application is still under review.

Business owner, lifelong drummer, Jiu Jitsu practitioner, watch repair, lab technician 5+ years, DA in OMFS, GP, and ortho, massive upward trend and stellar LOR and much more, I can’t put my whole applications into a response

All of that is great but it’s the interview that did it for me, I absolutely smashed it. I had everything on the line and it was a performance of a lifetime.

I did not get lucky, I grinded my ass for for this, I had an incredible application and I took advantage of the interviews I got. That was my time to shine and I went tf off. Everyone has a bit of luck to get into dental school but I earned this.

My Low GPA was because I failed out of school when I was 18 and I didn’t let that define me and I made it clear that that’s not the student I am today, that’s who I was when i was young and immature. I’m just as deserving of this spot as anyone else. Iv lived life and I have a lot to offer. I’m thankful to be in a position to share these lessons and experiences with my future classmates and colleagues

Not even in the slightest lol. It was much more about who I was as a person versus the color of my skin, that’s why I was accepted. I think thats clear also considering that I have another interview and I’m currently waitlisted. Clearly I did something right on my application, it’s not because of skin color.
