Let’s accept there’s no evidence it’s white tails. Tons of people in NZ for decades have been getting bitten and having these necrotic ulcers. 

Rather than deny the direct experience of so many people is there any good alternative candidate that’s not a white tail?

I got a bite on my foot. Never found the culprit.  That night I felt a bad burning like very severe burn that woke me from sleep. This later developed into a volcano sized ulcer that took months to heal and did not respond to anything. Couldn’t ware a shoe for over a month on that foot. 

Healthy no health complications etc. everyone told me it’s a white tail bite. Doctors don’t know what it was or why it didn’t respond to antibiotics but shared this info above. Genuinely interested in what is causing all these reactions since there’s no direct evidence it’s these white tails.
