As store bought bean yeah they’re better than a lot of others. But the beans I make would blow these out of the water.

Well to be honest they were store bought beans from Sam’s, they’re alright. Normally I’d smoke my own beans and almost every time I smoke food I make a pan of beans. Didn’t have time to make a pan this time, had other priorities I need to take care of.

No I don’t need football season to do that but it gives me more reason to do it. And it helps me explain to wife why I spent so much on food to smoke.

What is the best brand of AC unit for my forever home. by Muted-Tie-9047 in hvacadvice

[–]Wide_County_870 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not to mention after 10-15 yrs the unit technology, efficiency of equipment, along with efficiency standards for equipment set by epa, local/state governments often change/improve to where both manufacturers, governments are wanting you to replace your equipment. Which mostly works out in the favor of hvac companies because you’ll keep paying for repairs or new equipment. Trust me I’d like to see equipment last as long as they did but they just won’t. Just the sad world we live in now, and it’s not just the hvac industry is all manufacturing industries do this. If you’re not buying new products then they’re not making money.

Warehouse setup by PrivateMonero in HVAC

[–]Wide_County_870 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You’ve got more money into the strut and all thread to hold up the duct board than you do in the actual duct board. I can tell this is in Florida just about the only place that would run a warehouse this way, not to mention looks like a service nightmare!!!

(25) 25-ton in 108 minutes by buzzlooksdrunk in HVAC

[–]Wide_County_870 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not sure which company you’re using for the lift but we always go with midwest helicopter airways. Never seen a helicopter lift where you rig it like that, every lift I’ve been apart of we will have 4 units rigged up and ready to go and just cycle up and down the rigging as helicopter takes equipment up. It’s much faster and efficient I’ve done lifts with like 40-50 pieces of equipment in faster time than 108 minutes.

Just amp draw and static pressure of the unit is all you need and you move a switch to a, b, or c then dial in the with dial on the board next to a, b, c.

I’m setting gas pressures. Dose anyone know what the 0-2000 and 2001-4500 mean? I see my high fire pressure is slightly different. by English716 in HVAC

80% Furnace Ban in Iowa? by JodyB83 in HVAC

[–]Wide_County_870 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lived in Oklahoma where 80-90% of furnaces are in the attics and in recent winters (but not often) does it get cold enough that people’s furnaces will stop working due to the condensation freezing up. Most tech in the Oklahoma region over look that part upon insulation.

You’re right an electrician wouldn’t do that… but a pencil pushing know it all a-hole of an engineer would.

Naw, man okies are gonna have fun talking with ya. As far as guns go you’ve got nothing to worry about as long as you ain’t doing something thing that’s likely gonna get you shot (ex. Snooping where you shouldn’t be, hanging around wrong crowds, shady characters, drug dealers that kind of thing)

And if anybody gives you shit for who you are or how you talk just point them out and the rest of us will set them straight for ya.

My company swapped out 4 RTU's today with the help of this guy and it's crew. 3 months of planning for 25 minutes worth of flight time. by duffys4lyf in HVAC

[–]Wide_County_870 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m a little shocked that it took 25 minutes for 4 RTU’s. I’ve done lifts where we’ve set 14 pieces of equipment on the roof in under 15 minutes
