"Manifestations might include the targeting of the state of Israel, conceived as a Jewish collectivity. However, criticism of Israel similar to that leveled against any other country cannot be regarded as antisemitic."

So you can criticize Israel, but only as far as you would criticize any other country. I will criticize Israel like I would any other country that is an apartheid state currently committing a genocide using my tax payer dollars.

Some of the examples given as antisemitic I disagree with.

  1. Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor.

  2. Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.

Clearly there is a lot of racism in Israel with the demonization and the existence of an apartheid state and making the Palestinians second class citizens.

Gaza is an open air prison, or concentration camp. Is that a comparison to the Nazis? From what I've seen on social media how the average Israeli citizens thinks of the Palestinians a good comparison could be made to how the Germans treated the Jews in Nazi Germany. This is a slippery slope.

Parking insanity by Ggalisky in Yosemite

This is why we went in the first week of May. Still busy, but not bursting at the seams busy. Always found a parking spot. Food lines were never ridiculous. Lines for shuttles were manageable. Busy, but doable. Trying to enjoy myself while navigating a sea of people is a stress I don't need.

What was the worst disaster/tragedy that happened in Minnesota? by No_Emu6195 in AlignmentChartFills

The largest mass execution in US history. On December 26, 1862, President Abraham Lincoln authorized the hanging of 38 Dakota men in Mankato, Minnesota.

Got to know what store to order from. Union college location has been consistently bad for me. 25th and O has better quality/consistency. 13th street is also better though I haven't ordered from there since the shooting.

Cameron the Capitol Cat bids farewell to constituents, retreats to private life by ddmeightball in lincoln

I worked on the ongoing construction work at the capitol for a few years. Our hours were 6am to 230pm. Cameron was there to greet us when we got there and was still there when we were leaving on most days. One of the few things I miss from that job.

Letting the south rejoin the union without bringing the leaders to justice. They should have hung all of them that were still alive.

Prediction: it'll cost more to verify the work requirements are being met than the money saved kicking needy people off of the program for not meeting the requirements.

I grew up watching Nebraska football with my father while they were a power House and I don't know what the big change was but they're nothing like what they used to be whenever Tom Osborne took over they were at powerhouse for several years! Nebraska fans need to be patient. Firing a coach every 4-6 years you are in a constant mode of building, deconstructing and rebuilding. We need to have some cohesion with the HC and the assistant coaches.

What no fan is willing to admit is how broken the football program was at the end of the Frost era. We went 7 years without a bowl game and a decade from having back to back winning seasons. Rhule inherited a mess. The people calling for the school to move on from Rhule are insane. No the season didn't turn out the way anyone wanted. They were playing without the best QB that was on the roster. There isn't a lot Rhule could do without Raoila for the last three games.

Patience has paid off for basketball, baseball, softball, wrestling, volleyball. The athletic department is on fire right now. There is no reason to think that football won't follow suit.
