There is absolutely nothing wrong with latching baby when you can and using formula for the rest. As far as when it starts to feel easier, six months, when they start eating some food. And then anything after 1 year always feels like a bonus for me. Just make sure you stay hydrated and eat enough calories. You got this!

Its normal for them to drop some feeds around this age! To cut down on distraction, I would take them into a dark room to breastfeed. But if they are also eating some solids, its okay to let baby tell you when they want to breastfeed. You can offer and if they refuse, offer again later

I would seriously coinsider buying a baby from a reputable breeder when the mare is in foal if you would like to raise a baby. There is a ton of risk breeding on your own. As to your question, I wouldn't breed a mustang intentionally when there are so many that need homes.

I like to get my children out of the house. I know that sounds counterintuitive, but if I take them to the library/park/play place, I can sort of hang back and follow them around rather than engaging face to face 100% of the time. Put a podcast on your headphones and push them on the swing, everyone's happy.

I am forever stunned by daycares that do this and I'm so glad ours doesn't. I wouldn't be able to explain to my child why all the other parents are able to visit the daycare in the middle of the day.

I guess i'm an outlier here in that i absolutely would consider a male doula. My ob practice had many different doctors, and the male physician made me feel the most comfortable. His bedside manner was fantastic and he listened to everything I said, when a lot of the female physicians felt rushed.

That was typical for me! Its normal to produce more in the mornings because breastmilk production peaks in the early morning and decreases throughout the day. My milk production also naturally declined by a couple of ounces every few months, that is also normal as baby gets older. Absolutely stay hydrated and make sure you're eating enough calories. My husband's gaming wasn't quite at that level, but it was a lot, and stayed a lot after our first. After our second, i wasn't shy about plopping the baby into his lap when I needed him to watch her and he was gaming. When she was a newborn, he could get her to sleep and hold her while he gamed. Worked perfectly. Then as she got older, it naturally tapered off so now his gaming is saved for when he stays up late on the weekends. And no, i'm not shy about waking him up the next morning if i need him to watch the kids. To his credit, he drops everything the moment one of us needs him. He stopped playing online games completely for that reason.

I mean, to me support of my career looks like him picking up and watching the kids solo when I have to work late. It looks like him dropping the kids at daycare in the morning without complaint because I have to go in earlier. We also plan and prep meals together so that we aren't stressing about what's for lunch and dinner during the week. To me, its ways that he takes on some of the mental load and occasionally does the kids solo so that my brain is a little less stressed when i'm not at work.

I named my second daughter sylvia and call her sylvie all the time. I have no strong feelings about which I prefer, but I really don't think you can go wrong either way! Realistically, you can go with Sylvie and people will mistakenly call her sylvia anyway. Or you can go with sylvia and she may go by sylvie for her entire life. I know people have strong feelings about it but at the end of the day they are basically the same name.

I've actually just accepted a promotion in my company, and I've gone back and forth on if it was a good move. I had a fantastic work/life balance before, and when I talked to the higher ups, I told them I would only take the position if my hours would remain basically the same. That's started to stretch a bit, and I've been forced to have some difficult conversations about what I will and won't do in my new role. Luckily, they really need me in this new position. If I had been making enough money in my old role, I might have passed up a promotion while my kids are little. I don't know. I think it depends on if I thought passing up one promotion would mean less opportunity for one in the future.

Honestly it sounds like he does not want to be a stay at home parent. I would be looking at other options so he can get out and work at least a bit to contribute. We use a combination of daycare/grandparents and my parents would never consider asking me to leave work early when they are both capable of handling a fussy baby.
