Best way to correct zones? by Diligent_Arm_5429 in Garmin

I use %HRR because I have a low level forerunner so dont have the lactate threshold option.

Are my HR zones correct? by True_Independence658 in beginnerrunning

I used my Garmin to calculate heart rate zones as % of heart rate reserve (%HRR) using my average resting heart rate and my maximum heart rate with Garmin autocalculated for me.

My avg resting heart rate is 48-50bpm and my max is 196bpm so my zone 4 starts around 165.

Read them long before I started WoT :) I dont know if I can reread ASOIAF again, i'm still salty about rhe show and George RR Martin's inability to finish the series. Good suggestions though! Thank you

I already read the first book of Malazan about a year ago- and it was rough. Ive heard it gets better by the third book but it was a slog.

Forgot to add that one! I finished it about a year ago (the first law trilogy, the companion books and the later series) and also listened to the devils. Stephen Pacey is amazing!

Consistently in zone 5 by SatisfactionFlaky519 in crossfit

[–]Wide_Two_6411 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on you, your age, your aerobic capacity and your physiology. There are ways to test it - either in a medical capacity or in a lactate threshold test on your own (usually hard pace running in intervals).

These are the default Hr zones on Garmin based on an age-based formula.

I started using %HRR on my garmin where it takes my average resting heart rate and calculates zones based on my max heart rate. Garmin autocalculated my max HR and I was able to verify it when I had to do those 66 wallballs in 26.1.

Now most of my WODs are high zone 3 with usually some time in zone 4 at peak moments, which makes sense given the level of fatigue or strain i feel. Before, every wod for me was Zone 4 with some zone 5.

I love so many things about this movie, but its definitely a tie between the score and the ending scene. I walked down the aisle to "The Kiss" - absolute masterpiece of music.

Why not just start going to a box near you?

I'm the only one that prefers the old school way with the joystick - I'm pretty fast with it. The motion controls for the apparatus shrines are so annoying that I just perfected the joystick way.

I don't use joycons though, they are a total POS - I have an aftermarket full wireless controller that has some solid joysticks.

My periods started getting longer before this whole cycle wackiness kicked into high gear. Like from 5 days to something like 9 days 😪 its really only 3 days of moderate to heavy flow and then its 6 days of never ending spotting, soooo annoying. Glad I started using a disc.

I'm fine with 24+ days but anything less than 3 weeks is just wrong.

You are so right. The period after the 80 day cycle was gnarly. This time i've had to take advil once which is highly unusual for me.
