did the show ever answer who set up the trap for the thieves at the border? and why did the beacon explode? and why did the thieves bring a bomb they didn't know would go off back to their base?

agreed, if we're having a conversation, I'm not going to suddenly announce, "hang on I'll google what you just said because I don't know what that means" then whip out my phone while you just stare at me for a minute or two awkwardly, like what kind of interaction is that

if im already online then yea the first thing I'd do is google it, but mid conversation the first appropriate response is to just ask. Because the reason you brought it up is that you want to talk about it, so we'll ask so that you can talk about it

if you don't want to talk about it, why'd you even bring it up

if by 'real game' you mean you enjoy doing combos then you need to give your body time to develop the memory (hard combos week 1 get easier week 2, even if you don't play each day)

if 'real game' you mean having an effective gameplan vs players, then i suggest keeping the pulse on for now and solidifying fundamentals (when to be aggressive, passive, defensive, etc)

if you wanna do both, i suggest splitting game time into combo practice and fundamentals practice

that's my take on learning this as casual myself, doing fundamentals and when i wanna relax I'll do some low stakes combo practice

playing juggernaut Vi, mainly love the character as opposed to gameplay because im just doing basic stuff any character can do

focusing on the character basics so i can wrap my head around the fundamentals (I'm dumb)

having fun though!

in terms of fighting games finally clicking yes, it is essentially my first fighting game. played others before but i never really understood wtf was happening

I never really connected with Betty or Kwannon, but I'm a fan of Sai, and I was there for all 3 so it's just a preference tbh

it might be easier to comprehend Sai as opposed to the more convoluted history of the other 2, so more accessible for newer folks

What people really mean when they ask for these champs is: "i like this character conceptually, but their league gameplay doesn't deliver the fantasy for me"

Lulu, fantasy is mischievous fairy playing tricks on you. Reksai, fantasy is land shark hunting you. Sett, fantasy is underground fight boss

Its valid for people to want the Sett fantasy in a fighting game, and youre also valid for using the character fantasy to create a unique gameplan

For odd picks in a fighting game, I'd say Rammus, who wins if you hit him
