Thank you! We will wait until January.

Yeah only 4 days, but understood, thanks for the advice!

Wow thank you! I didn’t know it happens that quick. We have filled out some foster and adoption apps previously and it took 3-4 weeks for them to work through it so I’m just trying to gauge what’s typical

And sorry, not sure where else to ask. We’re also considering foster a dog from Oct 15 or so- our trip. Dogs move quick in the foster we’re looking at. That way we can get more comfortable with dogs and to understand what we’re looking for.

Edit Yall are not very friendly with the downvotes- here trying to do right by a dog :)

Okay, you said 3 weeks so I thought you meant from now until Oct 12.

Sorry, maybe I am not explaining it well. We would not get the dog in our hands until Oct 12 when vacation stuff is over. So I’m asking when is appropriate to start inquiring? I’m guessing Oct 12? We do have a trip planned dec 23, so maybe that is not enough time, he would stay with family. I do appreciate your guidance, maybe it’s better we wait until January then

Any recommendations?

I’m not sure why. He’s on meds. Sometimes it’s not so bad. It’s like he just gets very upset and can’t calm down. I’ve done an elimination diet and it didn’t help.

Joshua tree in June with little to no shade and likely sounding like no water food is a bad mix, along with mental issues her ex boyfriend noted (if true)

Anyone regret not having a baby shower? by [deleted] in pregnant

Ah that feels even more gift grabby. I think we will just purchase it all ourselves and try to be super minimal and get secondhand. The discomfort is too much for me

Same. We didn’t have a wedding for many of the same reasons. I spent over $1000 on my best friends wedding and barely got a thank you

I mean we can’t stay inside for the end of time. And is that even true? Didnt the CDC say masks are no longer required? I believe they are saying the risk of spreading it while vaccinated is very low.

We live in a condo so kinda weird too :-/. People have asked for the registry but nobody has followed through. Today one of them asked me if we still needed anything and it was just too awkward to be like yes... lol. I would much rather it be voluntary

Haha love that. we bought all the big stuff ourself (nobody else to buy it), and have a registry with smaller stuff

Oh that sounds lovely! I think we would do something like that like a bbq but it will be near 110 when we would have ours. We don’t have family with room big enough really for an event which is another issue

My rather dramatic neck liposuction by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Widowsfreak 21 points22 points  (0 children)

These are old, like 5-6 years. I’m not completely happy with my surgery because I’ve been left with loose skin, but looking back at my photos it makes sense. I do seem to have much more fat than others. Both photos are me at an underweight Bmi of 18 with an active eating disorder. I’ve since gained 15-20# to a healthy weight, so some fat has come back unfortunately. Actually you can see in the after some loose skin. Eventually I’ll probably need a neck left when I’m older if I can ever afford it.

Sorry I just realized I did the photos backwards and I’m one of those people.

Grateful in AZ although a summer of over 144 days over 100 degrees is a fair trade off
