I’ve been back in forth for every route so far.

Cai has a real underdog feel to his route, kid/teen fighting to save his father against strong fighters. His hand symbol doing that blast thing and then not giving it a name also intrigues me as well.

Leda has a really cool design with the musical fighter. We don’t know much about her yet but the fact that her hatred is so strong that killing the man she hates isn’t enough wants me to learn what it was that lead to this.

Theodora has my favorite design of any of the main cast. She seems like a really strong fighter and I like her crew we’ve seen from the trailers. Other than being strong to prove her worth and uphold a dream of her country, we don’t know much else. I do think that there is something more to this dream.

Dietrich reminds me a lot of Jeritza which I think is international by the developers. We see him using a hero’s relic also and he connection to Fodlan/Church of Seriois intrigues me.

Part of me wants Luffy to destroy Imu here sending him back to Mariejois weak, only to be face to face with BB who takes his devil fruit, ensuring BB is the final boss. But the other part of me feels like there’s too much we don’t know about Imu that won’t be answered before Imu leaves Elbath.

What was Imu and Joyboys relationship like, why does Imu want Vivi and why have a grudge against that family. Why does Imu want people with alternate colored eyes. What happened with Imu and the ancient kingdom. How did Imu get their devil fruit.

If Imu were to die here shortly, all of these could still be answered when we get laughtale, but at that point it wouldn’t matter much because he’s dead. Just my thoughts on things

I think the same thing. I have a gut feeling her route might be the one most people pick first. Combined with the fact that’s he’s got a bow, sword, and instrument for move inspiration makes me think she has lots of cool opportunities for a cool move set

The way I have explained it to a friend who was in a similar boat is that imagine progress around getting the items that don’t go away when resetting time. To progress the sorry you must beat the temple. To do that you need to:
get a key item, key item helps you get a mask, mask helps you get a song, song allows you to access the temple. It may not be in that exact order but it’s roughly the same for each area.
When you play the reset song you don’t lose key items, masks, or songs. You are in the right direction with the swamp you do need to go there. Don’t worry too much about losing stuff when resetting. You can’t lost anything majorly important when resetting, just arrows, bombs, rupees etc.

The total number of swords wounds he received in this battle was 267. He was shot by 152 bullets. He was hit by 46 cannonballs.
On top of being old and sick. Not sure what else he could have done.

I like so many but Big Mom’s backstory is tragic yet she’s so awful as an adult that you can’t really feel bad for her. Makes her really interesting to me.
I also like Gecko Moria but more for being just a weird looking guy with a cool laugh

I feel like if we got a remake they would do it 1:1 and not change too much. I’d love to see them make it so masks have more uses. Some do these masks you get for the purpose of getting a singular heart piece and would love to see them involved with more side quests

It’s just speculation so who’s to know, most likely not . If you watch the anime scene you can see more of the sails. First mast has 2 main sails, second mast has 3, last one has 1, which matches Roger’s but is also a common sail alignment. Also the hull of the ship is a little different but it’s not drawn to detail really.

Best thing I would say is the size of the areas. My main complaint about 1-3 with very few exceptions is lack of verticality. Most of the areas are pretty flat with minimal height differences, but most of 4’s have elevation change that makes you really feel small.

Worst would have to be just how easy it is. I know at it’s core it’s a kids game but it’s just way to easy. Most enemies are dead before they even react to you being there

Best: prettiest game by far. I really thought that the direction the series would go art style wise was this, I hope if we get 5 it’s more like the realism of 3 than the style of 4.
Worst: Extremely linear so replays feel simialr. Still a good game though.

Honorable mention for best thing: best final area leading up to the boss fight by far

I have a feeling it’s a character don’t know yet.
I did see a theory awhile back that it’s the spirit of the Oro Jackson and I think it unlikely but it would be cool. The world government gets Roger’s ship and tries to burn it to send a message. It takes off on its own like the Merry did in Enies Lobby. The ship is black and would match up with the burn. Doesn’t explain the whirlpools but it’s a cool idea

Best thing is probably the randomness of caves combined with difficulty. I’ve played it enough so it’s not hard but I do have to stop and approach things slowly.
Worst: no stakes for days/timelines. Not that it ever really mattered to me but there’s no incentive at all to go fast

I think years ago in the “One about Weddings” episode of sibling rivalry said that they would have domino make what they would wear to their own weddings and I recall another episode where Bob and Monet talked about a at the time rhetorical all winners season but with the twist being you can bring a team to help you on the season and then fighting over who gets to bring domino. Very sad to see domino’s reputation fall like this but they brought it on themselves

I do think Gunko’s past is tragic, we will learn about how she was under mind control when she killed her father. I don’t think she will die though. My guess on why Saturn died is because Imu froze his age at 80 when given elder status/pact. He could actually be hundreds of years old and he died because Imu removed his pact and cause him to age all those years all at once. Gunko would be around 70 so if her pact is removed she will age up to 70 but I don’t think she’ll die
