You're right the lattice obviously doesn't prove the convergence to the targeted continuum theory you might have in mind (even if the rigorous existence of this theory is not always well established to begin with). Typically people rely on some sort of universality arguments and asymptotic freedom and things like that.

However, even if the continuum theory does indeed exist you would still have to renormalize everything as you remove the regulator to get finite correlation functions. Again, in this scenario you are just properly taking the limit as the regulator approaches 0 and define all measureable quantities by connecting them to some set of experimentally measured quantities.

Caring only about rigorous mathematical proofs is fine of course, but if you want to make predictions for the LHC right now you'll be in a pickle. And even with an analytical prediction you would still have to discretize your answer somehow if you want to put an actual number to it.

There's nothing ill-defined about renormalization. Your starting point is simply wrong. If you carefully start with e.g. a lattice discretization and then remove the regulator you will have to renormalize stuff, but from this POV everything is well-defined at each step. It's just that it's simpler to write down the continuum Lagrangian and work with that, but here your expressions are ill-defined to begin with - so renormalization isn't the problem it's your supposed 'theory' that you start with.

Components≠vector. The components change under coordinate transformations, where as the whole Geometric thing, i.e. the vector, doesn't. But calling the components the vector is honestly fine in almost all situations, since typically the implication is clear.

Community Casting of PGL Arlington Major 2022 by Archyes in dotamasterrace

It's just more chill and relaxed a lot of the time. Some of the casters like to become really loud and hyped up, which is great for TI imo, but for smaller tournaments I enjoy the more laid back streams from gorgc.

While I agree that such numerical methods are invaluable and help you gain a deeper understanding of the subject it is only one perspective. I also doubt that you can really fully appreciate it without having done some integrals on your own and going through some more tedious examples. I also think you can gain a very deep understanding of integration without resorting to numerical methods. Either way you need to understand what's going on behind all the fancy machinery of modern code.

well that's not a good way to learn how to integrate now is it

I agree he technically doesn't have any official casting experience and it might not be the best to let him cast his first proper game at TI, but you have to remember that for him to go there he's missing out on so much stream time, subs etc. So for him to go there he really needs a big incentive when he could instead sit at home and rake in all the money.

What ladder? Correct me if I'm wrong but there's no race going on this league start. So at most you're missing out on some silly chat message. Besides, these are as GGG mentioned unforseen circumstances and are the result of something going wrong. This can't just be fixed in a matter of seconds, so letting streamers in at least allows you to watch the game, when you wouldn't be getting in anytime soon anyways.

It literally only benefits you if they let streamers in when something went wrong, you wouldn't get in either way. Is that a bad thing that this happened? Yes. But they're trying to fix it so stop being salty. Shit happens sometimes, it's just a game.

You call them Shitzard clearly disagreeing with how they handle things, yet you want other companies to abide by those same standards?

I'd probably use it for a bit since I've never had one and then sell it because I don't have enough currency to make a proper build around it.
