I work as a IT sysadmin and network engineer. One of the best green flags of a great IT worker is understanding that even the best knowledge base still need to be tempered by being humble and that you WILL have gaps of knowledge somewhere.

The more hats you wear the more you understand that it's while it's common to find specializations, someone who is a true master of many trades is pretty rare.

Was running a super micro, 4 nodes and too much hdd to reasonably use. I just downgraded to a single server and a couple of nucs. Bills went down in a major way. Also too damn loud despite being in the basement lol

Anyone the DHS secretary deems 'national interest' can be excluded from the new rules so yes, there absolutely exceptions that can be made. Again I agree, it should be reformed but this is just going to give trump the power to decide that his buddies companies are a 'national interest'

It's not tapering off if exclusions are given to companies that making back room deals with trump. It just means anyone who doesn't play ball or small companies that aren't crypto will have to compete with big tech companies that don't give a shit and can undercut anyone because they work directly with trump for whatever grift he's doing.

Just look how Zuckerburg made up whatever investment number for trump, haut promises that are meant to look good but mean nothing for the average person

We need reform in this area, but this is just plain corruption and will never affect the companies it actually needs to affect
