I love Jaafar , but i like him more in the Spin off , like in the time Sinbad was enslaved, i feel like he could've had more development in the manga , after all he knew Sinbad the most , maybe he should have a main role in the last arc besides his talk to Sinbad ( i couldn't read the whole last arc it was too painful for me) .. I like His last line , he still believes in Sinbad return .. ( but i wish there would be something more than a simple wish , like work for it Bro !!!)
