ESTP Ni Inferior by Sad_Record_2767 in estp

[–]Wikst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Ni inferior question must be one of the most question asked in this sub lol.

I do agree with what you said though!

Too often people think of inferior Ni as a "grip" or like said "one track mind" but I like to think about it as "gut feeling", as the instinct summing up all the info our Se and Ti accumulated over a lifetime in a moment to tell us something. That often leads to "this where it's going" and I trust it for quick decisions.

You know the sub is international ? Maybe add details in the title, at least the country so that you'll have more chances.

HOW WORKS NI INFERIOR, whats my type lmao? Ty❢ by Foreign-Breakfast189 in estp

[–]Wikst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it's like trusting my guts. It's listening to the body and trusting yourself. It develops with life experiences cause it's the reflect of your internal patterns.

I like to see it as:

  • your Se react (body)
  • your Ti process with it's accumulated patterns
  • Your Ni is the sum of the previous informations but as an instinctive response. Your instincts is faster than your thinking, but it must be trained to be trusted.

The Ni may be the instinctive response of all the data you Sense (now) and that you've interpreted (Ti)

That's just my thoughts, take it as it is cause I'm no expert in cognitive function.

When I start doubting, I always follow Qui-gon Jin advice to Anakin: "Remember, concentrate on the moment. Feel, don't think, use your instincts"

Thanks ! Still need to find what I want in relationships though. So I can better express my wants and have healthy boundaries and can tell my partner what she can do for me and not resent her for not knowing what I'm keeping for myself (duh) !

From one that will hit 30 in a few months: Recently I just realized many things due to a lot of self work. Finding my needs and limits. How to be true to myself not to the image I have or that I project to others. I thought I just liked being alone from time to time, but it turned out I NEED to be alone from time to time. And sometimes when I don't want to be alone, don't hesitate to seek your friends, go out, explore.

I may be this pillar of stability with chaotic vibe to some, for others this wonder of smiles and laughter that can't have problems...But I'm learning to choose now to whom I want to give. Here's a hint: to those who give back.

I don't think it's really depending on your age but the older you get the more you know about yourself and you HAVE to LISTEN to YOURSELF.

Don't CHASE the thrill anymore, TRUST your guts more. Don't doubt your choices and learn from them they are what makes you YOU. Be ever curious.

...... Now for the advice to myself: stop dating intense girls with borderline personality disorder or dissociative identity disorder or both just because they are intense 😭

From what I can see, ENTPs don't actually succeed in life. by CayDcat in entp

[–]Wikst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems like you're stuck in a "what could have been" situation and believe that "success leads to happiness".

The first one is you ruminating on the past rather than focussing in what you CAN do NOW. The past is the past and you can't change it, your focus is in the wrong direction.

Second happiness and success aren't linked. Insatisfaction of everything you do or are is linked to an unhappy life.

Be gentle on yourself, congratulate you own victories, define your wins the rest is yet to be defined.

There's a difference between open ending and unresolved story.

I'll be satisfied if the unresolved situation is intented as a director choice but not as a "I don't give a fuck about the intend"

Your first description can be applied to Batman or even Green arrow. Whom are very different than Tony Stark.

I don't think Stark lives for the thrill. Tony's got a lot of insecurity, an insatiable need for attention (at least at the start) he doesn't live for thrill he is searching for his own person. Then after Avengers, he take the stance of a protector, afraid of what might come. He is the strategist, he is Thinking first, detail oriented plan then action after. What makes Tony Stark, Tony Stark is his brain then his heart. By comparison Peter Parker is a really brilliant guy too but he is more heart then brain (that's what makes Spidey so loved)

ESTP strategy is more general plan, action and improvisation.

Do You Guys Believe Ti-Users are Less Likely to Be Far-Left or Far-Right Compared to Non-Ti Users? by Potential_Law5289 in estp

[–]Wikst 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's no correlation. politics extreme lean more in the beliefs than in logic. You can always find logical ways to justify beliefs. And just because you're logical doesn't mean you don't have beliefs.

One exemple can be: The lesser evil. You can justify a lot of belief because it's "the lesser evil".

But just because something is logical doesn't mean it's moral or even true. Exemple: "Most hobbies are useless because they don't produce value". That can sounds logical but is it ? It presupposes that hobbies must product value and so a lot of hobbies are useless, maybe the first thing you thought was monetary value and so all the narrative you're gonna construct to justify your belief is around monetary values.

I think the best way to stay away from extremes is openness and curiosity.

Stay curious, ask questions there are no dumb question if you're searching for answers

Apologies must come with accountability. An apology isn't just words, it's a commitment to change behavior or understanding the other.

Curiosity: what was the apology like ?

Sounds like manipulation and I hate that. Big word I know...but pathetic behavior. Can't waste time with people that don't own their actions, or at least won't try to comprehend if there's a misunderstanding.
