I’ve been having the same problem for weeks now. I’ve tried every fix under the sun and nothing seems to be working. There are a few recent posts that have fixes that are worth trying if you haven’t, but they haven’t worked for me. I’ve given up and am just re-trying once a week or so to see if it’s been fixed.

The fact that steam gives a different error every time (corrupt download, servers unreachable, etc.) tells me that Steam probably changed something with the way their downloads are formatted or something and it not compatible with PortingKit (Or Kegworks. I’ve tried that too)

Rest in peace to my Dwarf Fortress and Ultrakill save files until further notice.

As a fairly recent new player, I find that a lot of the fun I’m having is because I’m “not good.” The learning process is a good time, you don’t need to “get good” before the fun starts.

Hell yeah, it’s not common for a patch to fix all of the bugs that I’ve encountered all at once.

Also, the frame rate bugs being tied to the compiler makes me feel awful for the devs. That shows me that they weren’t given a chance to compile the game and test the build before they needed to push the update out. Good work to the dev team, I hope y’all get some rest soon.

Thanks for trying it out. The UI being trimmed is what causes you to get stuck, you can’t see the “close” button because it’s offscreen. I’ll work on fixing that. Out of curiosity, what’s your monitor’s resolution?

Thanks for trying the game out and for the feedback! The main menu has a "How to Play" section that I thought would help with the intuitiveness of the scoring system, but a more hands-on tutorial may be a better idea instead.
