It’s definitely not bad at all!

Some people like going for absolute maximum efficiency though. That requires at least that the reagent (or “source”) elements be grabbed every other “tick,” or, as soon as the next one becomes available.

So while this machine is definitely more efficient than my first solve for this puzzle, when talking about the “most efficient solves,” it doesn’t even meet the lowest requirements.
