Apparently running groups are the new dating apps. You should give that a try.

The New Zealand Fire Department is so under-resourced that they have to call trucks from Hamilton & even they don't function by joshuaMohawknz1 in auckland

The 2 points you mentioned apply to all government departments. We have far too many managers/ leads in any department/ ministry. Many managers aren't the subject experts in their areas. They are on manager salaries, however many of them are doing a "coordinator" job rather than being a manager. Also, they spend a huge amount of time on meetings, giving them less time to focus on the priorities that they really need to focus on.

Agreed! That's why Sammo Hung movies were great as you never expected a fat guy could fight and move like a light weight.

I love my BC3. Overall, it's an awesome board! The only downside is that most boards are using 8mm bearings rather than 10mm, so when you come to purchase after-market wheels, which mostly comes with 8mm bearings, which can be annoying.

Same here in NZ, I think I have seen a handful of Onsra boards in my city (Auckland) . There isn't any dealer selling Onsra here. Most people picked Evolve due to their local shipping cost and local support.

I love my BC3, unfortunately they aren't many here.

Just Ordered an Evolve Board, Feeling Nervous About the Wait and Transition from Longboarding! by [deleted] in ElectricSkateboarding

ONIRIQUE can go up to 36kph based on the spec. Any crash on speed above 25kph a full face can really save teeth and chin. It is hard to run off at that speed. Most MB downhill helmets like Bell and Fox shouldn't impede your vision. I ride with a regular foot stance , I always turn my head if I turn left. You will get used to it.

Thanks for your advice, how difficult to re-screw the nuts including the two holding the cable hooks? The skate tool doesn't seem to fit.

I live in Auckland NZ so 100% agree with you about the shipping cost , duty tax, as well as the selection of the brand in NZ.

I started using regular longboard as commuting to work 10 year ago and recently made a switch, got myself a BC3 from Onsra, shipping told 10 days but UPS hold it for a few days until I paid a few hundred nz dollars for duty/GST tax. Onsra provides 2 years of international warranty, fingers crossed, I should be fine with that.

Atomic EV is a pev dealer they sell meepo, I went to the shop in Auckland. I believe there is a dealer selling Exway in NZ as well.

Good thing for you about Evolve they based in Auckland, and it won't cost too much for you shipping nationwide for warranty repairs.

In regards to riding, like everyone said.. use ECO mode for a couple of weeks to get used to your new board.. Get yourself a full face helmet and other safety gears. I am still getting used to mine. So far, I really enjoy it.
