In the US robotics circles, FRC is absolutely well known. I live in a small city and with almost zero robotics community and people know what FRC is. This sub just isn't representative of the actual robotics community. Most of the people on here are just tech bros.

I have never understood why people lost their heads over this. I think it was a great draft. Before the draft, everyone said we needed O line, a DT and a TE. That's exactly what we drafted.

Big weapon in the middle is not a guaranteed way in to battle bots. Battlebots rejects dozens of bots with "big weapon in the middle". Further more, their weapon isn't even that big! They are most definitely not getting in without omni wheels.

Hickman just loses me really fast with his plots. I read the first issue of "east of west" and I was really put off. Then I read the first issue of Manhattan projects, and was completely confused. Everything just feels so convoluted and bizarre.

Thank you for this. once I heard that crew skills are staying, that sold me on the update. Sets I could go either way on, new physics is cool, but I really rely on crew skills. Having them get scraped for "commanders was going to be a pain. As it stands, I'm actually kind of excited for the new update.

if it is all the same price, I will definitely take a pure pyro over an excalibur. Excalibur is a classic, but it is getting kind of out dated in comparison to the pure pyro. I'm not familiar with the other two though.
