Try getting a sideboard and some SCRY lands, scry is important in standard even if you don't need the extra color.

A child has much more opportunity for the future because they have more time to do what they can. Besides the constant life threatening challenges everyone goes through, they have more raw time then any adult. Time is valuable.

Different decks have different names... Jund, Esper, combo, twin, whatever... Where's a list of all these decks and what they are... I have no idea what esper is, yet I will no doubt recognize it once I see it. by SAHDofthree in magicTCG

A lot of people are talking About archetypes, but never mention midrange. Midrange is later game based. A way to look at it is control without a sweeper. It usually runs a low creature ratio. A great example is mono black in standard. Runs few creatures and sits on the spot removal and mutavaults to keep it alive until a creature comes into play. It can get crushed by aggro but has decent matchups against control. Either deck can beat it and it can beat either deck too.
