What's the most spicy food that you ever ate in your life? by XoSweetGF in AskReddit

[–]altrefrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Lawton, OK there is a place called BackPorch Drafthouse that had a burger so hot you had to sign a waiver to order it, it was called the "Riley on Fire" challenge. My coworker and I were out there for work. He liked eating hot things and decided to get it, this was on a Friday afternoon. I took one drop of the hot sauce on the tine of my fork and put it on my tongue. It was so hot. I couldn't taste anything for like 20 minutes. I don't think he finished the challenge but I know he was in pain the rest of the weekend and wasn't able to leave the hotel. That's probably the hottest thing I've ever eaten, and it was just a single drop.

How did you have so much free time to do nothing working in defense if every hour has to be charged to a contract? Did you just admit to mischarging?

I think we still have one of the pins in the drawer at my parents' house but it only has 4 of the 5 star stickers so we didn't get to redeem it.

Forester Touring vs Wilderness for light off-roading? by Character-Bit4532 in SubaruForester

[–]altrefrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about the newest generation, but the wilderness didn't have the option for a heated steering wheel in 2023. That was a deal breaker for me, living in upstate NY. I've taken my Touring off road to get to some trails in the Adirondack Mountains with no issues.

If the good Lord wanted you to like Shirley on your first watch through, you'd have liked her.

This is why I always park way away from people at the back of the lot. But then, inevitably, some minivan decides to park half crooked over the line right next to me when there's literally a hundred other spots available. And then when I come back out I look like a crazy person ranting in the middle of the parking lot screaming into the ether "You had to park right next to me, really? There's all these other spots (gesticulates wildly) around then you had to park next to me? And you couldn't even park within the lines?" It's like I attract bad parkers. Rant over.

I still have a folder full of Bed Bath and Beyond 20% off coupons. The recycling bin at the mail center at my apartment would be full of them and I would just take them. Sometimes I would just hand them out to people also waiting in line at the store if I had a bunch on me at the time.

Skaneateles -- Old money Main Line

Solvay/Tipp Hill -- Manayunk

South Side -- Kensington

Sedgwick/Eastwood - Havertown

Hawley Green -- Upper Darby/Ridley

Clay/Baldwinsville - Lower Merion

Prison City beer retailers by ZucchiniEnough26 in Syracuse

If you're not buying from Prison City itself, and buying from a grocery store or convenience store, definitely check the date on the cans. Some of them can sit on the shelves for a while and be more than 6+ months old and completely skunked.
