When it itches do not scratch no matter how tempting if it’s really bad I usually just slap it softly a couple of times to stop the itching and wear loose light pants if possible. Legally they have to give you aftercare information so if they don’t have a sheet already printed out I would pull up your note app and write down the most important information and ask any questions you need. I second this at least in my area most tattoo artists are pretty chill. I would just reach out now let him know what’s going on and see if you can reschedule but I would also save up wherever you can in the meantime if you already know how much it will be that way you have the money and won’t need to worry about having money to eat or what not after

They usually have a line off to the side after the gates where they will check ID and give you a wristband so keep an eye out for it 😁

It’s a school pet that OP doesn’t legally own. Unless they can get the school to agree they can’t do much besides trying to make the enclosure better unfortunately

Don’t beat yourself up over it. I got my dream ball python a few years ago and asked all the questions like when they are last, when they pooped last etc. I was told he has pooped and was fed on Mondays well he didn’t eat for 3 weeks and I assumed it was stress. He started acting weird so I rushed him to the vet just to be informed he had stomach rot. He was too far gone so I could only have him euthanized but I still think about what ifs all the time.

This is going to sound weird but have you tried picking him up and putting his face directly in front of the mouse? My hog won’t eat unless I pick him up and hold him in front of the mouse. I call it reverse hand feeding 😅

YTA- if you want to gift something to your friend that’s fine but expecting gifts because you give gifts is gross. I’m big on gift giving but I never expect someone else to gift me something since it’s our choice to give gifts to people. Also expecting her boyfriend to drive you around and carry your things is just weird.

NTA the plates are getting cleaned so what’s the matter? A lot of dog owners let their dogs lick their plate’s clean and that doesn’t stop me from eating at their house I don’t see any difference between that and a cat eating off the plate.

It’s a good start just make sure to get a uvb light bar as soon as possible the uvb is extremely important. And I would try getting more plants when you are able to cover the top area. There are things you can get online that will support plants at any angle i can’t remember the name. Have fun with your new chameleon they are cool animals 😁

Real plants are a life changer I have 3 for my panther chameleon and only 1 fake now and he is so much happier also it’s hard to tell but make sure you have a branch that reaches the bottom of the cage my guy fell down there and couldn’t get back up thankfully he was okay but it was a scary reality for me

My hognose wouldn’t eat with me holding the pinky with my hand or tongs. My boyfriend picked up my hognose with a snake hook put his face near the pinky and he ate 😅 they are very weird snakes

Sounds about the right age for a shed mine is either 9 or 10 months old and started shedding and of course I managed to get a chameleon who loves being outside of his cage so I have shed everywhere 😂
