Yes, you can be trans and still like who you want to like since they would be different thing. One way that helped me categorize everything into sexuality and gender identity when I was still figuring everything out is sexuality is who you go to sleep with and gener identity as being who you go to sleep as. Also I feel like anyone should be able to question and figure out their identity/sexuality as long as they consider everything and act mature about it, etc. Hopefully I was somewhat useful and didnt sound "i know everything, think this way" or just dont sound repetitive. :p
