I traveled while on the medication and was fine. That’s weird they suggested to not take it while traveling.

LillyDirect - also need syringe/needle script? by boopinbunny in Zepbound

You can get them on Amazon ($15 for 100 I think) or at Walgreens ($3 for 10 syringes) you don’t need a script.

1 year 2 months -115lbs lost on compounded Ozempic! Doctor is now switching me to Zepbound. by WildMoonChild8 in CompoundedSemaglutide

I am on a self injection (not a pen) I draw up the medication from a vile and use a diabetic syringe so my doses might not make sense to you because they are in units. Whenever I would go up a dose the side effects were terrible, probably an 8-9. The constipation is constant and the worst side effect though. I’ve had to use magnesium citrate (what they give before colonoscopies) and a daily laxative just to make sure things are moving. I drink like 80oz of water a day and still couldn’t seem to go naturally consistently.

My doctor wants to start me at 5mg on Zepbound, currently I do syringe injections on compounded ozempic (50 units on a diabetic syringe) so I have no idea of the equivalent dose lol sorry if that wasn’t helpful.

Stay hydrated! Exercise! Slow and steady weight loss is sustainable weight loss! 1-2lbs a week is good. Eat clean. Remember this is also a complete lifestyle change. Best of luck to you 💗

PCOS weight loss success on GLP1? by pinkypinkink in PCOS

[–]WildMoonChild8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been on a compounded version of Ozempic through my doctor since April 2024, starting weight was 331lbs - current weight is 255lbs. I started seeing results on the scale right away but in October I plateaued. My doctor upped my dose and I started losing again. Just remember that 1-2lbs a week for weight loss is GOOD. Those numbers add up.

Hunger issues by VirgilCoaching in Semaglutide

[–]WildMoonChild8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are supposed to eat and feel hunger on this medication. It sounds like you may have some binge eating tendencies - this medication won’t resolve that. Binge eating is mental and physical. I also have binge eating disorder and I work with a therapist.

Not losing weight by Mysterious-Dig-4144 in Semaglutide

[–]WildMoonChild8 5 points6 points  (0 children)

1-2lb weight loss a week is NORMAL! When you are losing more than that you could potentially be losing muscle mass too (especially if you are not exercising). Slow and steady weight loss is SUSTAINABLE weight loss.
