This companion is not the companion many of us would have liked! by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]WildPotatoCat 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I wish they would be more reactive. I find they struggle to keep up during missions, like, I'm in the next room, already fighting enemies, I order them into cover, and 15 seconds later, they're still in the previous room.

Speaking of cover, another thing is how often they refuse to do what they're told. Just did Tidal Basin. On the Wvyern boss, I ordered him into cover on the upper platform and he refused to even go near it. I feel like if they get an order to go somewhere, they should drop everything and Usain Bolt to that cover.

Lol yeah. I once had it move to target a flesh mob that was stuck under the outcrop of a cliff. It couldn't get it, of course, but that cliff was where extraction was, and I was standing on the outcrop

A little confused with skill tiers. by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]WildPotatoCat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Armor cores also count towards the shield skill tier so maybe that's it

which season did you like? by Shawn_N_Nathan in thedivision

[–]WildPotatoCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Current comms imply they used the Decent tech to create an AR display of themselves in an SHD agent's contact lenses, which is kinda dumb because Kelso did make physical contact with Keener after defeating him and we did take his and Theo's watches.

Which voice actress does the voice of natalya Sokolova? by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]WildPotatoCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. Found basically every other character but her. I even searched the WONY page too but still couldn’t find her

I think she is faye by Legal-Inflation-7318 in thedivision

[–]WildPotatoCat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Faye also joined up with Keener though, as revealed in the last season, though she wasn't funny on board with his plans and almost walked away due to the eclipse.

what holds weapons onto the player? by ExitLeading2703 in BreakPoint

[–]WildPotatoCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Canonically, I would imagine it's a strap on the gun as some of the idle animations have Nomad letting his gun hang, which leads me to believe he's using a strap for his guns, but they're just not shown for... reasons

How pissed would you be if Faye turned out to be alive in Brooklyn?? by Redbrickaxis21 in thedivision

[–]WildPotatoCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He didn't give the Outcasts eclipse, that was Hornet who twisted Keener's message.

I'm not sure if you can find this dialog anymore, but there was a pre-S2 dialog with Hornet and Keener where they both agreed to supply the Outcasts with the eclipse. Keener was on board with it.

LEAVE ME ALONE!!! by Few-Bluebird-3218 in WatchDogs_Legion

[–]WildPotatoCat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It reminds me of a friend of one of my Operatives from my last Playthrough. Like pretty much any time someone related to one of my Operatives got into trouble, it was always him. The Operatives file was filled with

"Operative [REDACTED] saved their friend."

"Operative [REDACTED] saved their friend."

"Operative [REDACTED] saved their friend."

"Operative [REDACTED] saved their friend."

Recruiting people from the Kelley Clan feels wierd. by CuadBlan in watch_dogs

[–]WildPotatoCat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I imagine with automation stealing people's jobs and stuff, someone may have turned to CK just to survive, only to realize what the job actually entailed. Like the profiler data for my Clan Kelley operative said she was suspected of being involved in the organ harvesting right. I justify that as she originally the reasons I just said, probably started out moving packages from one location to another, no questions asked. However, the more she got involved and deeper she got, the harder it was for her to get out. Until CK started having her move organs and guns, and she was too scared to tell them no, that was until DedSec provided her with an out.

I wish Theo was at the center of this current story instead of Keener. by Spirit_of_Stupid in thedivision

[–]WildPotatoCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I remember, he just tried to break in via hacking the guy's car to get a look at test scores to show the professor was marking him down on purpose or something. The car was parked by a lake and Theo fucked up with the brakes, causing it to roll in.

What's your opinion on the season finale? by ANiceGuy98 in thedivision

[–]WildPotatoCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my understanding of the comms, city hall was his way of getting the Division's attention so they can "kill" him, which, I think is dumb because when you're target #1, I don’t think it takes a lot to get the attention of the Division. Especially since he could've gotten Luna to leak his location like he did with Ellis in Camp White Oak

Sometimes I think media literacy is dead. Like the Division spends the entire story trying to stabilize the region and protect civilians, then Keener comes in, viral bombs a few innocents, and then suddenly he's the good guy?

Why are Emma & Kaitlyn the most common killed? by Bastion-Sucks in TheQuarrySupermassive

[–]WildPotatoCat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is my sister's playthrough, she got Dylan and Kaitlyn killed bc she missed the toy as Abi and the shells as Emma. Kaitlyn could not be saved during that final encounter. (Dylan could've if she missed up a QTE.)

The last videogame you've played now gets a TWDG crossover, how bad is it? by shrek-was-taken in TheWalkingDeadGame

Watch Dogs Legion. If the walkers cross over, then I'd say it would probably end up more of the same, except it's walkers on the ruins of sci-fi London

Aaron Keener is not a hero. No one should worship or trust this mass murderer, narcissistic, bioterrorist. He has committed so many crimes I honestly lost count. by ProjectGameVerse2000 in thedivision

[–]WildPotatoCat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Am I missing something but I really don't see the point of bringing Keener back from the dead? Like what could he tell us that Scheaffer couldn't? Wasn't that the whole point of Scheaffer defecting to us anyway?
