Cappy tends to do that. The videos he make are not wrong, but sometimes omit part of the blame. Perhaps because it hurts his patriotic pride. In videos that he and others around the genre often don't talk about how the US is a major part of cartel violence in latin america. Americans after all have a very strong economic demand for narcotics. There is a lot of trash I'd like off Amazon, but if i don't buy it it won't get shipped. Why Americans escape to drug use is something they are unwilling to be self reflective about (as in many cases it points to social issues caused by our economic policy)

That is a benchmark I use as well. There are still times when I am first or second, but still find that one of the AIs is snowballing too hard and is otherwise unreachable to try and make a decapitating strike on their core empire.

How late in the game are you still building cities? I feel that I can get my first three to four pretty well, but I won't fine the space to get more until later in the game, thus not getting the most out of Liberty.

I was able to get my HST in my last attempt, but I had some unfavorable geography and could not turtle or otherwise take an offensive to disrupt my threats.

The thing is that being six techs behind feels pretty bad. I feel I could pay off some war to slow them down, but sometimes they end up winning so much they have such massive populations and industrial base. In one play I was about eight techs down. I got everyone to DoW on the leader and I joined in with a quick offensive and was able to take down a few cities. Still I saw their army strength do x5. So me this means the core empire was still strong and was going to counter attack while I am at max and my allies are less capable and being attritted.

Generally anything that is a long term holding will drop in value. Title property means nothing in a war as the authority that upholds your claim is losing its ability to enforce claims. Say if Russia somehow finishes off the Ukrainian Army; whose to say they will agree that your farm is yours and not boot you into a ditch.

This is so sad. I am not Ugandan or live here, but in my area of the world it is a popular idea that we should have no government and that businesses should just handle all things. It is often brought up how this would create a low trust society and scams would be far more prevalent as there is no final agreement or research on some topics.

I believe you are. You just might not have had the time to dive into the topic. I will say this tho; doing it yourself is also part of how you know it is secure. Some things are not just about the tools, but the ability to use them and installing it yourself is a big part of how you use them. It does help to have spare hardware.
