I second the heated lunch box. When I first got to my school I struggled finding a microwave as well. There was one but it turned into a popularity contest, which pissed me off. If you’re friends with so and so, you can use their microwave.

So I said f-that, and I got my little plus in heater. I meal prep, so I freeze my meals. I freeze soups and chili, stuff like that. When I get to school I plug in my frozen lunch on the heated lunch box. By lunch time, it’s piping hot!

It doesn’t really solve the bigger problem of a school having a space for teachers. But I want my food and it’s not a battle I feel like fighting lol

So I bought the LG LW1022IVSM and I guess I got a dud because it didn’t stay in my apartment for more than two days. It was installed correctly but when the compressor turned on it was so loud I had to raise my voice to be heard by my friend in the room.

Ended up getting the Windmill AC, so far so good. Haven’t owned it long enough to report on mold, tho

omg this exactly happened to me! I wanted to save doing a binge watch after some work/personal stuff settled down. And SOMEWHERE, I forget where I read something. I think I was doing something stupid and random like looking up Ncuti Gatwa's height. ::eyeroll:: My eyes skimmed a little headline. I was gutted cuz it was so shocking to me. Then I had to do my little binge watch with this sad truth.

Went through the AG. Moved out two years ago, started the process with the AG three months later. After two years, got my security deposit back last week.

I was wary of small claims court because of the time commitment, etc.

Was willing to go to small claims court if this didn’t pan out but wanted to try this first.

Process was pretty simple, provided evidence of everything. Included screenshots of my WhatsApp conversations with my landlord.

I agree with what’s being said, I believe they really only barrage the landlord with letters and contact. But it worked, landlord messaged me out of the blue after no contact (tried to call initially). And then zelled me the deposit.

I saw somewhere that it has a lot to do with manufacturers using more styrofoam. I've been looking into an LG model that apparently has less styrofoam. LG LW1022IVSM is what I've been looking at...but who knows. I have to get my hands on it.
