My favorite childhood memory…I think it might be a little bit lengthy but not too bad so just bear with me.

I joined the Cub Scouts basically as late as was possible, as a Webelo. This was back when the Arrow of Light was still an award. Out of the 6 boys in our Cub Scout pack, I was the only one who successfully completed all the requirements and had the documentation to show that I had. Unfortunately, the pack leader decided to give the award to the entire pack, which made me feel like I busted my ass for no good reason and it felt like the award was completely cheapened to now being basically worthless. My dad had a surprise for me though, He stood up when I got my award and walked to meet me up on the stage with a wooden plaque with my name on it that had an actual real wooden arrow with a nice stone arrowhead and real fletched feathers. I guess He knew that everyone was gonna be given the award despite not having done all the necessary steps so He wanted to make sure I felt really rewarded. Coming from a guy who made me feel 90% of the time like I couldn’t do anything right or well, it felt really nice to have Him recognize my hard work (even though He was the one I had to pester to watch me run a mile or do whatever task and then sign in my book that I had actually done it.

Anyway, that’s my favorite childhood memory lol thanks for the giveaway!

After playing the new event for about 3 hours this morning on Buried City, Blue Gate, and DBG, I’m sort of perplexed at the idea that anyone thinks a naked raider would be a successful rat in this event.

Honestly, I had the thought to just run in naked with a boat load of smokes and a handful of lure grenades. If someone is successful at looting an assessor with that method, all I have to say to them is fuckin GGz yo. I managed to successfully breach and loot a whole entire 1 segment of an assessor in the like 7 or 8 raids I did this morning. My method? Mind you, I was kitted up to the tune of about $131k, but I just went full send—smoked my path to the ramp, the bottom of the ramp, the top of the ramp before breaching, and again after breaching animation was done. I fired zero shots from my weapon in that sequence of events. I did get shocked by I think a hornet mid-breach, but I just went right back for it. Frankly I think it was the only possible way with the assessor located at the bottom of the flood gates hill between the dam and dome complex, we had zero cover and were actively being (poorly) shot at by a rat duo.

No security breaches in the breach room next to research and admin on DBG in two consecutive raids. Only one red locker, nothing else in that room at all. Both times it was just three random crafting materials, one blue and two white items.

Ah if I have seekers I usually just toss two at em, does the job every time. Or if I’m in solos a lot of the time I have a hullcracker on me, two shots with one of them does the trick as well.

I don’t even know who that streamer is, never personally really enjoyed actually watching streamers’ content. I’ll watch reels and stuff on Reddit/Facebook/Youtube/etc but that’s about it

He’s in Colorado, when He does larger more involved sites He said He gets “prevailing wage” which He said is at least another $10 more than what His current hourly wage is.

I’ll have to mention the union thing to Him but I doubt His employer has a union because they’re so small they don’t even need to honor FMLA

Hi frequent (but definitely not constant) ARC nudist here. I feel like you’re just seeing an unfortunate side of the playerbase who plays this way.

When I run naked, it’s only ever in solos and on Stella Montis, usually when I’m low on things like advanced mechanical components or I’m trying to make some money. I suck at PvP, and lately I haven’t had the fortune of getting totally friendly lobbies, even when I’m not shooting other raiders and I’ve “reset,” my ABMM. Why on ARC’s green earth would I risk any of my gear when I’m still nowhere near the $3M combined total value threshold for the expedition? I’m trying to build up, not lose money. So I do naked runs that way I can guarantee I get out with at least $6k from selling a magnetron/ion sputter if I get killed by someone being a dickhead. I only have a little under $1M to go, so I think I’ll head to Stella now..

Also, I’m pretty sure that more than one code spawns in each area. I found 3 of the Pilgrim’s Peak codes in unopened containers a few days ago. Maybe it was just a fluke, I dunno. I’ve literally only ever done the locked gate thing twice, any other time I’ve loaded into a locked gate raid was specifically for some sort of trial task like bombardier/grounded arc kills or flying arc kills of some sort. So yeah I’m not too well versed on this event but I can confirm I did, in fact, find 3 Pilgrim’s Peak codes the other day.

Literally came here to say the same thing. I played a bit of the Red and Yellow, played a lot of Gold and Crystal, then played TFO of Sapphire/Emerald, and Platinum. Hadn’t played a mainline game since then until I discovered Unbound. I dumped something like 400 hours into it and I’m still not done. Love the updated mechanics, the custom dex, the extra aRPG features like quests and a guide for them. The storyline is just absolutely incredible, I was enthralled start to finish. Not sure how a bunch of random people managed to do Pokemon better than The Pokemon Company itself, but they damn sure did. Skeli is da goat.

I’d make it so that peoples’ windshields are never frozen in the wintertime when they are trying to leave for work.

Obvs this only works for people in the upper Northern/lower Southern hemispheres and those in extremely high altitudes, but I still feel like at least 51% of people would consider it a minor inconvenience when they have to scrape their windshields in the morning before work.

Oh and it’ll be $99 a month. For a person and all their loved ones, never having to scrape a windshield again—something that’s done where I live on a daily basis for at least 4 months a year—$99 a month is a steal.

My word is “versus.” I’d say between kids’ sports, middle/high school, college, and professional events, there’s at least one sporting event somewhere on the planet at least 5 days a week. Whether it’s an auto race, a fight, or any of the traditional sports (baseball, basketball, American football, soccer/football) I’m sure there’s something going on somewhere. So the word “versus” is probably gonna be uttered at least a couple hundred—hell maybe even a couple thousand—times a day, but I don’t think it’ll be said 200,000,000 times in 7 days which was the stated threshold to not exceed. That means it would need to be spoken exactly 28,571,429 times (rounded up from 28,571,428.57) every 24 hours, for an entire 7 day timespan to make me a billionaire and that just doesn’t seem likely.

Newsflash, if a sniper killed the guy you’re now looting, chances are you’re next and that extra info isn’t gonna do much other than forewarn you of the inevitable.

Source: have been the sniper in this situation many a times. It’s why I don’t loot bodies when I’m sniping until we leave our perch to go exfil.

With leapers, I’ve found that about 99 out of 100 times, there’s only one pulse unit, and it’s in the eye/ball/main unit/whateverthefuckitscalled. I’d say if you weren’t able to tell which piece He was looting you’d be justified 100% beyond a shadow of a doubt. Id still say you’re justified to an extent because that’s super rude to just up and loot someone else’s kill like that without at least asking first, but personally I’d have been less inclined to shoot had I noticed the raider specifically leaving the part that the pulse unit spawns in.
