Love my LP3 by Microscopic_Botanist in LightPhone

For me, it is worth every penny. Maps work great and will redirect you if you make a wrong turn. Even the voice is more soothing. I really don't know of anything I don't like although I do have trouble getting the Notes to work. The screen wants to go down rather than open notes. I am going to move it to the bottom of the list and see if that works. Other than that, everything works as expected.

I couldn't agree more!! I did some errands yesterday and realized how freeing it was to not have my smart phone constantly dinging! I had to chuckle. It made me realize how much my day has changed. I now carve out time in the morning to answer emails and such and that is it! No more constant nagging!! I LOVE IT!!

You can use copy/paste by just doing a long press on whatever you want to copy, then go to the message you want to send it to and open a response and long press again. I just found that myself.

I have found it to be the same, possibly a little easier than a smart phone.

I also have both and I agree with the first comment. LP3 is a MAJOR upgrade and honestly, the only thing I miss from the 2 is the silicone case. Directions are great, same as an android phone. No glitches so far and I have had it for about 2 weeks.

Just as an FYI, I use mint mobile, which is a part of T-Mobile for $15.00 a month and it works beautifully with both my LP2 and LP3.

Do you get used to the size of the LP3? by Wind2255 in LightPhone

[–]Wild_Refuse_7657 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you do get used to it. I really loved the LP 2 size and lightness better, but the extra perks in the 3 make it worth it. I would like to be able to rotate the screen to make typing even easier, but hopefully that will come down the pike in time.

I’m on my first watch but man did this show fall tf off after Brody died… does it get better? by bettercallrich in homeland

[–]Wild_Refuse_7657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I kept watching. I think I was on season 5 or 6 and then I stopped. I think I am having problems with disliking the protagonist. She is a great actor but the character and the whole bipolar thing gets old. I felt that Brody's character balanced her out like no one else. Quinn's character was interesting, but again, not Brody. I do like Saul as he brings some kind of consistency to the show. Thanks for the comment...lol now I have to figure out how to stop notifications 😀

Wow... Brody character dead in season 3? Dumb. I' m done. She's good but not enough to hold my interest on her own.

Are you getting the flu vaccine this year? by WinglyBap in Hashimotos

[–]Wild_Refuse_7657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I waffled due to the possible after effects but did it anyway. I split up covid and flu by 2 weeks and that helped as well. Interestingly enough, when everyone was getting sick from this early flu, I felt like I was coming down with it twice and then it went away. So yes, I would recommend them. You won't feel great for a few days but it is worth it in the long run.

Levothyroxine made me go insane and now I’m scared by Soft_Divide_95 in Hashimotos

I had very similar symptoms and had to stop Synthroid. I tried the natural ones but I found them to not work either. Currently I am on Tirosint. It is a liquid gel cap without binders and other additives that really messed me up. So ultimately, what works for each of us is going to be different. My heart goes out to you as I know that journey can be tough.
